Short Update !!

In the past two month I spend a lot of time to watch many matches from 1.BL and 2.BL to get a better view and more informations from the teams to be well prepared for the start with my own Betting-System. Additional I collected a lot of numbers which are all in my Data-File, and all this Data will help and support me a lot for all my Picks/Bets. This is my absolutely basis for every Pick I am going take. I have done my work and I am ready now.

As you can see I started this week with posting Picks and my work is getting rewarded as well. With a nice start we can look forward to the next winners, hopefully.

VfL Bochum - FC Ingolstadt 04

VfL Bochum collected 8 points while Ingolstadt had 11 points, and both are almost neighbours on the table of the 2.Bundesliga. In this region and only after a few rounds played we can not say if they are intended for a promotion or a relegation candidate. Under the week both have home defeats and if they turn things around, both want to go for the 3 points today.

Where the problem from VfL Bochum is this season is well known. They had huge problems to score if only 4 goals in 7 matches shows this very well. For a better place or more success this is by far to less. Despite these parlous balance coach Bergmann is nevertheless reaffirming on his experienced strikers Dedic and Iashvili. Especially Dedic waits every game that he can find his last season form where he showed for Dresden and scored also a lot there. Gelashvili and Scheidhauer must wait for their chance again and sit on bench, while Delura gave his comeback against Kaiserslautern for some minutes after a long injured time. Compared to the 1-2 against FCK one change is possible with youngster Goretzka move in after his light injury and Ortega who could not use his chance on thursday must back to the bench.

After three wins in a row they lost the derby against 1860 Munich 0-2 and it was fully deserved. But today they want to find the road to success back and they are very keen on it because they celebrated in the past two years with 4-1 and 1-0 alsways wins at Bochum. Despite the very weak performance in the last match coach Oral should be hold on his starting eleven which appears to have been found in recent weeks. They are one of the better away sides as well and have some good results there. Also with their fast counter attacks they are more dangerous as on home games. Last but not least they had one day more rest and should be fresher in the end when the match will be decided.

SV Wehen Wiesbaden - VfB Stuttgart II

After SV Wehen Wiesbaden put a lot of money in their squad and spoke from promotion last season they are on an absolutely dwontrend. They saved them almost in last minute last season and they want to do better this season but what happen is very funny at the moment. They won their opener against Erfurt with 2-1 but could not win a single match in the following 10 matches. Sure, they are hard to beat as well too with only 2 loses but with 8 draws they are not able to make big steps. According to their huge draws they stuck only a bit above the red zone. All in all not such bad but if you take a look at the results and how they come to .... it is absolutley funny. They were up against Babelsberg 2-0 (FT 2-2), also against Münster 2-0 (FT 2-2), also against Chemnitz 2-0 (FT 2-3). They are not able to bring their lead over time. But after this goal festivals they stopped scoring. In the last 5 matches they scored only 4.

Coach Vollmann must changes his defensive row again because with solid defender Gyasi are out with suspension and also their best scorer with Janjic (5 goals). Long term not available are Book, Mann, Döringer, Barg and Kolke.

Their opponent with Stuttgart Amas today started very well but is also in some downtrend. They get not much after they climbed up to 5th place. They try a lot in the past but missed also much and they had also some scoring problems. But all in all they are fighting very well and try hard to get back on track. If they work like the past matches success is not far away for them. Coach Kramny can choose from a very good squad today. Only one long term injured player is missing.

Fortuna Düsseldorf - FC Schalke 04

Wow, what should I say, what an incredible start by Fortuna Düsseldorf into the season. They are unbeaten so far and additional what is one of the biggest surprise, they are with a clean sheet in all 5 matches. With 3 times 0-0 and 2 times 2-0 they did an absolutely great job. Most of the experts gave the newcomer no chance in this league and saw them as one of the first relegation candidate in the league. At this stage of the season they are absolutely wrong, but sure a long way to go and it can happen a lot normally. But they are on a good way and they have huge self confidence with their results and want to continue their run and also prove themselve.
Coach Meier is playing a very defensive tactic at the moment and they are more focused not to concede as to score. Their style is more awful but what count is success and they have it. But more and more I think about their opponent this time it is more difficult for them as in the past matches to hold this run and also without conceding a goal. They played with Augsburg a team who was better but had huge scoring problems and missed a lot and we got the confirmation that they are weak at the moment, 2nd match was against Gladbach who are also not in such shape as last season and need time (they alos had good scoring opportunities there but De Jong missed the empty net I remember), 3rd was against Stuttgart, they also at the bottom of the table with problems, 4rd was at home against Freiburg and equal match but Freiburg is not such a number also only midtable or bottom team, 5th against their promotion rival Fürth who had an awful day and missed a lot of their former performances. As you can see, this were all teams with maybe the same level or weaker at the moment. Schalke is one of the top teams in BL and they should be able to crack this defense wall from Düsseldorf. I think it can be huge of work for Levels and van den Bergh on the wings, also central with Fink and Bodzek. 

Schalke started very well with 3 wins and 1 draw and 1 lose. The lose was against Bayern Munich where they had a very bad day and let their supporters alone. After their great last season the level what the fans expecting are high, and they got a bit irritated by their performances against Munich and also against Mainz in the first 15 minutes. But all in all they are at the teams on the top of the table and they are sure set for an international place again. Their squad is to strong to miss it. The defense worked well (only 2 goals against them against strong home side Hannover and Bayern) and should do this also against Düsseldorf. The double six with Neustädter and big fighter Jones (maybe Höger is an option as well) has some class but their biggest weapon are their offensive above all their wings with Farfan (Afellay), Holtby, Draxler (Barnetta) can create a lot for their lone striker Huntelaar. This lineup from Schalke should be able to put a lot of pressure on the wings from Düsseldorf and sooner or later the goal will come. All these players are one class better as the players from Düsseldorf, also Düsseldorf's players are almost fresh faces in BL, most of them have never played there. 

This time I am sure, Düsseldorf can not hold such a great offensive away and they are set to concede for sure this time. If Schalke can score twice, they win because Düsseldorf have some problems to score due to their focuse on defensive. That Düsseldorf win this is impossible in my eyes but I am a bit careful and take only the quarter ball in case of a draw we get half of our stake back.  Good Luck !!!

1.FC Saarbrücken - SpVgg Unterhaching

The team from coach Luginger is placed on 10th position. They are only average at the moment and have to improve a lot. After their win last weekend they want continue their way like this. It is a great opportunity to climb a bit but it is also not sure if they can. With some problems above all creating and scoring they can win not much. With 13 goals scored and 15 conceded in 10 matches says all where the problems are. A lot of work will come in any case on their defensive against one of the best offense of the league beside Münster with 20 goals scored so far. Some of the players are not available to help to stop Unterhaching, these are Eggert, Göcer, Maek and Striefler. Eggert and Maek has problems with their calm while Striefler working on his comeback after long term injury. Göcer has ankle problems and Pellowski is far far away after surgery. Also imp. Striker Ziemer is a small doubt after his injury in the last match.

What a surprise, the club with the biggest problems and with the lowest budget rides on a huge wave of success. They climbed to the top with only young talented players in their rows because they can not pay experienced players. For this many ups and downs are expected and also in some matches is this inexperience indicated as at least against Dortmund where they were 2-0 up but got 3 goals against them to 2-3 and finished very well in the end 4-3. The young coaching team said that such situations happen with young players but they are always able for a comeback. After selling Bigalke who was their head, midfielder Rohracker takes his place and does a really great job so far. Some argue that they are much stronger without Bigalke now. Maybe but the only key I think is the great team play of Unterhaching and also all players are very hungry for success. Coach Schromm announced that they want to change one position for this match with giving Hummels a break after his long injury and recent comeback. For him Drum is expected to book the place in defense.

VfL Osnabrück - SV Darmstadt 98

The typical VfL Osnabrück is back on his old way above all at home where they are a very strong side and very hard to beat infront of their hot crowd. After the lose against Münster what was a derby some fans were huge frustrated and had some absolutely bad words against some players in the last match at Chemnitz. But this should be gone now because they won deserved 2-0 there and are near the top of the table. Coach Wollitz can choose from a good squad where only the long term injured players are missing (with Thomik, Hansen, Porcello, Wolf and Pauli). As i mentioned it is absolutely hard to play there and under floodlight they are known for their strenght. They had an excellent record some time ago. Osnabrück will come out and put a lot of pressure on Darmstadt and they have the weapons to overcome them.

After coach Runjaic left SV Darmstadt 98 to sign a contract at MSV Duisburg former coach from Stuttgart II tooks over. After Seeberger was on the line for Darmstadt they are unbeaten in two matches so far. They were 0-2 down at Hallescher FC but got a draw. And at the weekend they celebrate their first win against his former Club with 3-1 and left also the red zone. They should be huge motivated now and they saw that they are able to win what give a lot of self confidence as well. But one of the biggest problems should be the personal at the moment. Their playmaker Elton da Costa reutrns last weekend after injury and played some minutes but it is not absolutely sure if he stands in the starting lineup so fast. Sure missing is Benjamin Baier who got injured and also Zimmermann stayed in Darmstadt while Hübner travel with the team but is a big doubt. On the other side face Gorka some problems but he should be able to play.

Energie Cottbus - SC Paderborn

 After a very lucky win against Regensburg with 1-0 Cottbus hold the second place and remains unbeaten this season. Paderborn showed some nice football above all after they took the lead against Sandhausen, they dominated the match and won deserved 3-0.

Cottbus started with some problems in the match against Regensburg because with wing Farina and top striker Sanogo were two important players not available but Coach Bommer said if this match would be an important one, both are ready to play at least. Also Coach announced that on Tuesday both are back and both are ready to play against Paderborn. This are some good news above all they need some more dangerousness infront of the goal. They won only due to a big mistake from Regensburg’s keeper and showed some weakness in their defensive. This make me very keen that they can keep a clean sheet again. They had to many luck at Regensburg and in this case sooner or later their opponent take advantage of it. Moreover they are one of the teams who scored a lot of goals and have also one of the best offensive with 12 goals in 6 matches.

This kind of match is absolutely prepared for Paderborn. They love to play against Cottbus and they love to play against Teams who are more offensive minded. They can go for their well balanced counter attacks with their fast wings and dangerous strikers. Some of them got a lot of self confidence from last match and also look in good shape. With Brückner, Kempe, Yilmaz, Naki, Meha and Hofmann are players available who can make the different. They score very well so far at the moment and have also one of the best offensive with 12 goals but their defense looks additional a bit shaky with conceding 7. Another big weapon are their free kicks from Meha, who is an absolutely great specialist for this.

This match should produce goals and all in all with both of the best offense at the moment facing each other I expect goals.

Dynamo Dresden - FC Ingolstadt 04

For the third home match of the season, Dynamo Dresden want after the 2-2 draw against 1860 and the defeat against Kaiserslautern 1-3 their first win infront of their home crowd today. Meanwhile FC Ingolstadt travels after a weak start with huge self confidence of two victories in a row to the Northeast and want continue their current run of course.

It was on Tuesday as Dynamo coach Loose was still happy as the first time this season all 28 players were on the training pitch. But a few hours later again some problems are back with two players got injured and the mood was down. With Thoelke and Gueye are two players injured now who were in the starting lineup against Sandhausen. But while Gueye took only a break for safety reasons is Thoelke out and will be replaced by Savic. Butt his changes would not be the only one. It speaks much that coach Loose change to 4-4-2 and Pote gets a partner in the offensive with Kitambala. This has the result that Tobias Jänicke move out of the team and sit only on bench. In central midfield, meanwhile, Florian Jungwirth used his surprising chance and should start again beside great playing Losilla.

It is very easy working at Ingolstadt after two wins in a row and with huge self confidence should they ready for the next match. Coach Oral wants to count on the same eleven as in the past although with Korkmaz and Schäfer on the left wing showed some weakness. But both will get a chance again. Also Caiuby was a weak point as striker and could not be such sure because joker Schäffler put some pressure on him with his good performance and the winning goal against Union. But all in all Oral trust the same time but knows also that he has some very good weapon on the bench with Schäffler, Uludag, Roger, Gunesch and da Costa. 

1860 München - Eintracht Braunschweig

After the big giant duel between 1.FC Kaiserslautern and Hertha BSC yesterday, follow the next big match when unbeaten TSV 1860 Munich face superior leader Eintracht Braunschweig to the top class on sunday. One of the Series will go surely to end. Either 1860 collect their first defeat or  Braunschweig will leave the pitch without a win.

During the week coach Maurer announced some changes after the very weak performance against Bochum where they had a lot of luck and also big thanks to keeper Kiraly who saved his team often. One of this player should be maybe midfielder Stoppelkamp who played very weak and gets a creative break from coach. He making place in the offense for Nicu and together with Halfar and Tomasov these three should create some fort he lone striker Lauth. This can happen if Maurer wants to play his expected system with 4-2-3-1. However if he changes to 4-4-2 with Halfar and Tomasov on the wings Lauth gets a partner on his side with Ismael Blanco and the system move to 4-4-2. Maybe the argentine striker gets his opportunity to show his strong training performance also in the match.

At Braunschweig is as usual known from the first weeks of the season only one position open. After the 1-0 win against Regensburg where youngster Erwig-Drüppel played on the right wing speaks all for a more defensive roadmap with the more experienced Bohl at the right midfield. Also Dogan is ready after his light injury in the last match. Bohl played already against Regensburg where he replaced injured Dogan and was after his long injury back with a solid performance. His coach mentioned that he should have no problems to play on this unusual position and he trust him. In attack remains Kumbela although he yet could not score a goal. But the pressure is getting always bigger from the bench with Zhang and Ademi.

Jahn Regensburg - Energie Cottbus

Although Jahn Regensburg was almost in all five previous matches his opponent never truly inferior, but they have only one win and four defeats on their account. Today they face a very tough opponent who started very strong into the season and they should now give everything to get the neeeded points because with the next lose they stuck for month in the red zone.

Coach Corrochano will change only a few positions compared to their 0-1 defeat against Braunschweig according to not many alternatives in his squad. Nachreiner plays as right back and Kamavuaka again in the center as done against Braunschweig. Also the double six should be build from Hein and Kotzke because former sixer Kurz is short in training after his ankle injury and needs some time to recover. Behind the only striker Francky Sembolo maybe some changes are possible because coach Corronchano consider Amachaibou and Djuricin not for the last match due to very weak training performances and some failed attitude. Maybe they trained better this week and are in the squad again but if not, the three from midfield with Wießmeier, Weidlich and J-M Müller the choice again.

For Cottbus coach Bommer maybe must change his successfull starting eleven from the last weeks because right wing Farina has some back problems and is a big doubt for today. His first replacment should be Sörensen and gets a new chance from Coach. The offense should be almost the same as in the lasts matches where top striker Sanogo, Adlung and Stiepermann did a very good and solid job and also Banovic and Kruska on the double six were in very good form as well. The only problem should be Sanogo who is a doubt too. He has some problems with his calf and is a light questionmark now.

Union Berlin - 1.FC Köln

No one would have expected before the season started that on the 6.Round with Union Berlin and 1.FC Köln remaining two winless teams with only one or two points at the bottom of the table. But so far, neither Union Berlin or 1.FC Köln found into the season and need to turn things around better sooner than later not to stuck at the bottom of the table in the coming month.

For personal reasons it looks a bit better for Union Berlin compared to past matches. Last time sick left back Kohlmann returned and should help to get more stability in their defense. On the other side is Marc Pfertzel recovering from muscular problems and should be also ready. Also compared to the last 1-2 defeat against Ingolstadt Coach Neuhaus count more on 4-4-2 instead of 4-1-4-1. The double six would be build with Karl and Menz while Mattuschka and Quiring are set for the offensive place in midfield. Quiring replace youngster Jopek who has some light problems and maybe is not in the squad. Their attack is likely Silvio and certainly the most motivated player on the pitch Terrode who was former player from Köln.
 
Probably coach Stanislawski changes not much if light injured Brecko and Maroh are available. Alternatives for the two are Kübler and Wimmer but also Hector can move back in the central defending position. But because both are expected to be ready no major changes then. Even for this the double six with Matuschyk and Hector remains unchanged because of last injured Lehmann who is not ready yet. The offensive line, however a change is provided because of not considered Chihi who was in the starting lineup on Monday against St. Pauli and again Ishak and Tese not belong in the squad. Fot his Clemens probably will start on the right wing and support together with the great hope Bigalke and Bröker the lone striker Ujah.

FSV Frankfurt - FC St. Pauli

Some different sign for the match between FSV Frankfurt and FC St. Pauli if you consider the last year table positions. FSV on 3rd place now while St. Pauli is only 11th. What a surprise for some according to FSV injury problems in the past weeks. A similary match like in the spring, when the match ends 3-3 after FSV leading 3-0 should be not expected this time. Because both teams will be considered primarily intended not to lose this match and according to play more conservative. As it is necessary for FSV not only of their Series from 9 home matches without a defeat 2012 to continue their unbeaten way this season. St. Pauli looks after their first win against Sandhausen and the hard fought in Köln with one point on the way up and continue like this.

 
FSV coach Möhlmann can choose beside long term injured Leckie, Gaus, Young, Tosunoglu and ill Hofmeier from a solid squad. For the central back captain Schlicke is back and ready again but it is not sure if he moves in the starting lineup because Gledson played very well last matches and maybe starts again. Bambara who was surprisingly called on the left wing against Cottbus should return on his position in central midfield. For him Heitmeier must be out then and on the wing starts Roshi.

While FSV had a full week to prepare for this match, face St. Pauli last Monday Köln and had only a few days for rest, however coach Schubert can built on a solid performance from his team there. Since only 4 days between the two away matches were they did not travel back to Hamburg therefore they use the time for a short trainings camp at Neu Isenburg near Frankfurt. If captain Boll can play is very doubtful because of his injury against Köln he had to travel back to Hamburg on Wednesday. Maybe for him Funk move in on the central position in midfield. He replaced him already on Monday after his injured knock out. Otherwise coach Schubert will likely use on the same starting lineup from Monday.

1.FC Köln - FC St. Pauli

This ist he last match of the 5th Round in 2.Bundesliga where 1.FC Köln hosts FC St. Pauli. Both clubs meet each other one class higher two years ago and both want to return rather sooner than later to 1.Bundesliga. But after the first Rounds of the season leaves many doubts that this can succeed this year. While Köln collected only one Point out of 4 matches got St. Pauli five Points, therefore both have a lot to improve.

Undoubtedly the greater pressure has the 1.FC Köln, who must finally rewarded for his dedicated play and enter the first victory. Help should be come likely from the new signed players Sascha Bigalke and Anthony Ujah who came short before the transfer window close. Both should bring more offensive punch now and more dangerousness in the offense. Coach Stanislawski announced that Bigalke, Bröker and Clemens will play in offensive midfield behind the only striker Ujah. More changes are not expected against Stanislawski’s former club compared to the last 0-1 lose against Energie Cottbus. Midfielder Lehmann is not fit because of his hamstring problems continue, should be Strobl and Hector set to play on the double six again.

For St. Pauli also no major changes expected from coach Schubert after their first win against Sandhausen 2-1 before the international break. In this case the same striker pair with Marius Ebbers and Mahir Saglik get a new chance to show their skills. Former striker and promotion hero Ebbers stands before his 250th 2.Bundesliga match and if he score today too he could achieve his 100th goal. Much motivated should be additional new signing Bay who came from Köln to St. Pauli 2 weeks ago. He had no perspectives there and want to start a new section at Pauli, but start only on bench today because of coach Schubert sends out his success starting eleven from last match.

1.FC Kaiserslautern - MSV Duisburg

FCK Fans are more than hot to celebrate a win !!!

It is almost one year ago that 1.FC Kaiserslautern celebrate their last victory at home, exactly on 22. October 2011 against SC Freiburg 2-1 where they left the pitch as winner at Fritz Walter Stadium. Since this 2-1, their fans waiting a long long time now and hope that the negative run come to an end finally. They start the next attempt against bottom team MSV Duisburg who have not won this season or collected a single point so far. Coach Franco Foda hopes for a win today and also hoping to make the 21 matches winless streak forgotten.

If we succeed to build on the last performances as shown against Dresden with a 3-1 win, we should be close to end the home misery. No major personal changes are expected if no one has some injury problems said coach Foda wants to count on the same lineup as against Dresden. But some doubt are there above all Fortounis has a flesh wound and is a bit questionmark for today. This is very hard because he made a very good match against Dresden and scored also one goal there. His substitute would probably Zuck, who maybe get a chance from beginning but also Derstroff is showing some improvements in training recently. Because new signing Torrejon needs some time to get his fitness and Simunek face some back problems their central defender are Abel and Heintz again. For the offense coach Foda hopes that Baumjohann can contiune his uptrend and both strikers Iddrissou and Bunjaku hold their form.

Very interesting will be what the new coach Runjaic will send to the pitch for MSV Duisburg today. The former coach from SV Darmstadt 98 has announced that he will count on the defensive play, but it is no reason to expect an offensively MSV, according to their last play and that they conceded to many. Compared to the last match against 1860 Munich 0-3 under interim coach Grlic Exslager, Pamic and Hoffmann likely return into the starting lineup. More open should bet he position on the left side of the defense where youngster Bomheuer showed some good things but coach Runjaic see him more as central defender. Therefore once again the not much convincing Kern could begin on this position. All in all, they need some experience of success after only loses.

Erzgebirge Aue - SC Paderborn

Both Erzgebirge Aue and SC Paderborn lost their last match before the international break. Also both clubs whose ultimate aim is to stay away from relegation have before their direct duel now 4 points on their side and the winner could make connection to the midfield of the table. The loser on the other hand will have to look at least a bit downward in the next few weeks.

After their unlucky defeat at FSV Frankfurt 0-1 in the end Aue wants to build on their home performance showed against 1.FC Köln but must do this without Savran who is injured. For him maybe Ronny König is set to replace him beside very strong Jakub Sylvestr. While Tobias Nickenig return into the squad could youngster Rau move to the bench, also some changes in midfield are possible. Instead of Schröder ccould get Höfler a chance and play together with Hochscheidt on the double six.

At SC Paderborn indicated after the 1-3 home defeat against FC Ingolstadt on a surprising change. As done at half time against Ingolstadt Tobias Kempe could play a central role in the offense line behind the striker Yilmaz. Therefore Vrancic would pushed to the back of the double six and probably oust captain Krösche to the bench. Which would be not such a surprise according to Krösche’s last performances who were rather mixed of the veteran and absolutely understandable. Otherwise coach Schmidt likely does not change much from his starting lineup because last signing Naki is not at 100% fitness and is only an option as Joker.

VfB Stuttgart - Fortuna Düsseldorf

Stuttgart started very bad and lost both matches. Sure their away match against Bayern München maybe was calculated but at home against Wolfsburg I think they have expected much more. It was absolutely close because they got a penalty in minute 89. What happen knows everyone who follow Bundesliga. Ibisevic took it and Benaglio saved it, Ibisevic had the second chance but missed again spectacular because net was wide open, almost empty net. After some seconds Wolfsburg's fast counter was finished with a header from Bas Dost who brought Wolfsburg the lead and win. But all in all this should be past now and they have to look forward and get focused on their next opponent Fortuna Düsseldorf. They have much more quality as newcomer Düsseldorf although they miss their best striker Ibisevic suspended but replacement Cacau has also some class to decide matches. If they want to stay away from relegation zone or from trouble in the next weeks they have to win this encounter. Overall they should be much more able as Düsseldorf. Some information about the national players Okazaki, Sakai and Maza who came back Friday night (this is late) and they maybe should get a rest and sit only on bench. But we have to wait what coach Labaddia decide. Out for this match are Audel, Didavi, Kuzmanovic and mentioned Ibisevic.

Newcomer Fortuna Düsseldorf surprised a bit, and they do not lose so far. First match against Augsburg they won in the end due to some luck and maybe some good decisions from coach Meier and also striker Schahin. They had luck that Augsburg missed a lot of good opportunities and on the other side with only 2 shoots they score 2 times. For the break they played the Derby against Bor. M'Gladbach and got a 0-0 but the better chances are on Gladbach's side but overall a more or weak match. Düsseldorf try to defend deep and maybe get over some counter to their success. This could be an option but they are very limited upfront. Only Voronin are a player with class, the others are more or less average. If we compare Augsburg, Gladbach and Stuttgart ..... Düsseldorf should get problems more and more. Augsburg harmless infront of the goal or miss to much, Gladbach still with problems according to their new system without Reus and their new signings, Stuttgart should be a much more and harder opponent for them. If they can handle Stuttgart's pressure on them and find a way to defend well they have a chance but I expect that they are not able to hold this ........ Captain Lambertz returns into central midfield while Reisinger, Balogun and Soares are out with injuries.

Can Lönning score again and cheer with his team?

With huge confident hosts SV Sandhausen Dynamo Dresden in their 3rd home match today. We need to act as team and play like against Cottbus and Union and we can be successfull as well said coach Dais. Dynamo maybe have to change something in their offense because Mikael Pote was injured and should be not at 100 Percent or maybe absolutely fit. The record speaks clear for Sandhausen so far, from 6 matches won Dresden only 1. The last meeting won Sandhausen easy 4-1 at home two years ago.

Sandhausen has some problems on the wing while Adler and Riemann are sure out has Klotz some problems and can not train without pain and is a big doubt today. If he can not play Julian Schauerte replace him on this position and for Schauerte move Falkenberg in the team. Not in danger should be captain Lönning who got a pause last weekend because of some back problems but should be available today. New signings Onuegbu and Wooten start from the bench and must wait for their chance.

Much more problem face coach Loose who has some offense players out like Quali and Kitambala and maybe also important striker Pote who scored 5 goals so far and is their much danger striker. If Pote must pass although he made some running under the week the young Peter Sliskovic likely get his chance. However Pavel Fort is not in the squad although he is the last main striker and additional David Solga stayed in Dresden after bad performances. For him probably play Losilla on the double six while ex-captain Fiel gets his first chance in the new season according to very good training sessions and also test matches last weekend. However captain Koch is back in the starting lineup after injury and should be a good weapon against Sandhausen for sure. In addition last chance is Thoelke in defense who gets the place from Savic.

Can they celebrate again?

After four wins in a row some of the Eintracht Braunschweig supporters are already dreaming of promotion to 1.Bundesliga but Management and Coach Lieberknecht want to know nothing about and instead thinking more of each match. The next match from the leader against Jahn Regensburg today should be a difficult one although Regensburg has some problems in the past above all with scoring.

Before the break Braunschweig won very easy in Aalen with 3-0. And because of the good performance coach Lieberknecht see no reason for major personal changes. So Braunschweig will start with their regulars again, the only questionmark can be what system Lieberknecht use and maybe in what formation he wants to play. Jahn Regensburg lost their last match against Bochum a bit unlucky because both teams are almost equal and absolutely weak on this day. But after the red card from Ziereis coach Corrochano has to change something in his defense row now. For this central defender Nachreiner move to the wing and new signing from U23 1.FC Nürnberg Kamavuaka plays instead of him central defender. While Kotzke and Hein are set to the double six Regensburg can change also something in the offense. On the right wing Weidlich looks a bit out of form in the past and maybe Jim Patrick Müller gets a chance there as starter. Another option is Müller on the left wing while Djuricin move to right. And the top offense players with Wießmeier and Sembolo should try to create some dangerous situations and sure .... score.Missings: Kurz, B. Schmid, Ziereis

Friday 2.Bundesliga Update

Difficult match for both. VfL Bochum has much more ambitions as last season but they fight with ups and downs again. Coach Bergmann has not much to choose from because with Acquistapace, Aydin, Toski, Dabrowski, Fabian, Delura and Esser miss Bochum a huge amount of players. Also their performances were average. They create not much above all away from home and this can be the key against a team who has a very good defense.
1860 came to Bochum to stop their negative trend against VfL. They are winless for years now and their last success against Bochum was a match where both played one league higher and had better times as now. With a Hattrick scored from Benny Lauth they won 3-1 after 0-1. No imp. missings for Coach Maurer, only central midfielder Makos will miss. Their defense is very hard to beat and they are 3 times with a clean sheet from 4 matches so far. They love to play on counter where their fast wings with Stoppelkamp and Halfar can play a good role and also Lauth in the middle has his best situations.

Ingolstadt with a slow start into the season but they showed in some situaions already their strength. Not without any reason talk some experts from good chances for promotion with this squad. But the officials do not want to know something about this. They made the breakthrough in their last match before the break against Paderborn where they got their first win after some average results. This put them a bit out of the bottom of the table and they can look forward to higher positions. No important missings.
Union started great in a fantastic match against Kaiserslautern with 3-3 but lost all their next matches. They played not bad but were not able to put some more pressure on their opponents or made some unnecessary mistakes in their defense and allowed some easy goals. All this happen and they are at the bottom of the table with only one point. Things must go better now if they do not want to stay longer there. They played some test matches and some of the young players showed good performances. One of them was Jopek who should be in the starting eleven for this match now. Coach Neuhaus is a bit under pressure and he needs points very well now. He choose some players who can maybe bring some surprising moments in their play.  Union miss some with Kohlmann, Kopplin, Parensen and Zoundi. In this encounter it rains goals ... 3-3 and 1-4 last season.

Amazing start into the season from both teams. Both with 3-1-0 so far, only one goal between both teams in the table because Cottbus 8-2 goals and FSV 7-2. But overall the record speaks clear for Cottbus who won 3 while FSV won only 1 by 2 draws.
Coach Bommer maybe found the right mix for his team and they played good so far. First match was a bit lucky in the end where they was 0-2 down but came back in the end to 2-2. The other 3 matches are all won and always with a clean sheet. The whole team worked well and should be able to have much more success as last season where they won not much. But we have to wait a bit because the same situation almost last season and after the break they were lousy and played awful and according to their performance they won only 2 from 30 matches. They were not really effective infront of the goal last season and scored less, this was their weakest goal production in their whole 2.Bundesliga membership. But I think things has chanced a bit now after all they has a very good striker with Sanogo who war able to score and maybe Adlung has better times as well.
What a surprise after all this bad news and situation with injuries and so on ..... FSV are unbeaten in the first 4 rounds although they had and have huge problems in defense with injured players who are not available but they find a way to win matches and placed them very well in the table. Sure poorer days will come and they do not stay always at the top of the table ...... but they do their best and want continue their success. Gledson made some tests but it is not confirmed yet if he can play or not, if not midfielder Konrad gets back as central defender beside young Heubach. Still out are Schlicke, Jung, Gaus, Tosunoglu and Leckie.

FC Augsburg - VfL Wolfsburg

The second season after promotion is always harder as the first one. Everyone knows you more and maybe you get some more attention. For this case FC Augsburg should be one of the direct relegation candidates. The impressions of the first two rounds confirm this a bit. They started with two loses and stay on the bottom of the table now. This was because their offense failed a lot above all against Fortuna Düsseldorf where they missed a lot of good opportunities and as always in Soccer, if you do not use your chances you get on the other way goals against. This was the case .... According to their situation this was a must win match against newcomer Düsseldorf. The next one where they played really good in the first twenty minutes but after Schalke took the lead, they come apart and they had nothing to hold up againt Schalke. In these two matches, they had 39 attempts on target but scored only one goal so far. But this goal scored from Oehrl was an offside position but counted. All in all they created a lot but their biggest problem is scoring .... sooner or later the goals will come but if not, the situation get worse.

For this encounter they miss first keeper Jentsch (3-4 weeks out), also Musona, Koo, Carllsen Bracker and Mölders are out.

Stadium from FC Augsburg

 VfL Wolfsburg started with international ambitions in the season but showed not much so far. Team from coach Magath won lucky against Stuttgart with 1-0 while Ibisevic missed a penalty and on the other side Bas Dost scored the winning goal some seconds later and decided the match. One week later they were really trashed from Hannover 0-4 at home where they missed all and they had hard weeks with their coach at the international break now. All want to show the right face now again and they travel to Augsburg with some anger and hope that they can confert it into positive energy. But it would be not an easy task for them according to last season results they lost both matches against Augsburg. Imp. Striker Bas Dost is light injured but want to play. Sure out are Knoche suspended and Pilar / Helmes (knee) are long term injured.

Union Berlin - Hertha BSC Berlin

One of the highlights of the 2.Bundesliga season if undoubtable the Berlin derby beetween Union Berlin and Hertha BSC Berlin. They meet each other at „Alte Försterei“ tonight. Union Berlin want to use their home advantage and celebrate their first win of the new season. Also the want to succeed as two seasons ago where they got a 1-1 at home and won sensationally 2-1 at Olympia Stadium.

To celebrate this time at the end again, the team from coach Uwe Neuhaus has compared to past matches increase a lot. So far, only one point from three matches is for their aim absolutely to less. To be much more focused and maybe get back inform coach Neuhaus closed the doors and they trained without any spectators. It will be very interesting to see what formation coach Neuhaus has meanwhile practiced. It is clear that Björn Kopplin will miss this match with injury but the others are all available and therefore coach Neuhause can choose from a solid squad then. Compared to the 0-2 at Sandhausen last week is likely Fabian Schönheim back in defense for Christopher Menz. Maybe one change in offense as well because Adam Nemec made some good trainings and is in focus from Neuhaus now. If he comes in then Gallegos place is questionable and moreover the system change too. Captain Mattuschka is sure in the starting lineup according to his increasing form and as former hero against Hertha he should be very hot as well and of course love to play against rival Hertha.

Fall Hertha BSC again

At Hertha coach Jos Luhukay is very happy that he can count on keeper Thomas Kraft now after his ban. Keeper problems should be past now. Also the defense should get more stability with him now. But they have still problems because new signing Petar Pekarik is not allowed to play due to contract problems. Once again Marcel Ndjeng has to play as right defense wing again which is not his normal position. Coach Luhukay announced additional that he does not change a lot and give almost the same starting eleven a try who won against Regensburg 2-1. Besides keeper Kraft, only Adrian Ramos come in as wing whose transfer to Mainz burst. Instaed of him Nikita Rukavytsya left the club and signed a contract at Mainz. In offense or better both strikers Allagui and Wagner meanwhile recommend with goals against Regensburg and get another chance from beginning again.

Jahn Regensburg - VfL Bochum

Both teams with three points from their first three matches. Jahn Regensburg and VfL Bochum are neighbours in the lower mid-table of the 2.Bundesliga. While in Regensburg they are very pleased with the outcome so far because they face big clubs like 1860 Munich and Hertha BSC away from home, is Bochum not very statisfied about the results and they would have promised more there. Especially the 0-1 against newcomer VfR Aalen last weekend still hurts a lot.

Therefore coach Andreas Bergmann will get the lost Points against Aalen back in Regensburg. But compared to the only away match in the league against Paderborn where they lost 0-4 they have to increase their performance a lot. Personal wise are not many changes expected, maybe the starting eleven get the chance to recover. Left back Florian Brügmann gets a chance as well but according to his big mistake against Aalen he spoke long with the coach but he gives him the trust again. However, it is possible that veteran Christoph Dabrowski come into the starting lineup instead of young Marc Rzatkowski. If Dabrowski move in to central midfield maybe some system change as well and they play more defensive then 4-2-3-1 or 4-1-3-2. Alecander Iashvili would act as midfielder behind the only striker Dedic.

New signing Julian Wießmeier with manager Franz Gerber

After the defeat against Hertha BSC coach Corrochano probably disclaim to make big changes. However, maybe Marco Djuricin who was not playable against Hertha BSC should move into the team and replace Jim Patrick Müller on the right wing. During the week they signed two talented players with Wießmeier and Kamavuaka from 1.FC Nürnberg but both should tend to sit on the bench. Particular Wießmeier should be an option for the starting lineup in central midfield for Amachaibou who was really poor against Berlin. Also not sure is if Oliver Hein who is back from injury gets a chance on his position in defense central midfield. For this could play Neunaber play in central defense while Nachreiner must move out and sit only on bench.
