Bayer Leverkusen - FC Augsburg

Both teams were active under the week in Champions League and Euro League so no one has an advantage here. Although Leverkusen played two days earlier and maybe had the time to recover and become fresh while Augsburg had the game against Partizan Belgrad on Thursday what allowed them not much time to recover and also to train because they main focus was to get all players ready for this encounter.

It was never so close for Leverkusen to get something in Barcelona. They took the lead in the opening half but failed to extend with some good attempts above all Chicarito missed the 2-0 and maybe the winner. In the end they had some problems with freshness and power what allowed Barca with two good actions to win the game. It was nothing special was Barca played but Bayer was not able to use the big opportunity there. Nevertheless are back to normal business today and with Augsburg they face a team who has a lot of trouble this Season. According to Leverkufen's form form the last games it is a must that they win against such opponents. They can not allow to drop more Points against smaller opponents like in the past to Darmstadt 0-1. All of them know that they have to take this match very serious and should not allow to much in defensive. The offensive is always good for some actions what speak for their creating power. If Coach Schmidt rotates a bit it should be not the problem at all what we have seen in Bremen where they showed a really good match with some changes. They have a lot of good players in offensive with Bellarabi, Mehmedi, Calhanoglu, Brandt, Kampl, Kießling and Chicarito. 

We had so many surprises in Bundesliga, teams with less budget played an excellent Season and got and European Spot in the end. If Alemannia Aachen, Eintracht Frankfurt, FSV Mainz 05 and SC Freiburg all were qualified and the next Season was one of the most difficult one because all these small teams are not able to handle this with their small squad. The international matches cost a lot of energy additional and they miss this power in domestic league and also have not the head free for such games. All are focused on these international games and forget the real important things their daily and main work in the league. Of course Augsburg is not weaker as last Season but they had even an incredible run and this is very hard to repeat anyway. They have to work harder for their Points now and all the teams are going to take them serious compared to last Season. Also some injury problems of some key or out of form players make it not much easier. Nevertheless the work is excellent from Weinzierl but overall they made to many mistakes in their defensive work or offensive play. Their performances are not all bad but they are to harmless in front of the goal as all statistical numbers showed. Maybe they need some calming influence of a central midfield player who can give the team more stability and keep the ball in their rows. Some of these mates can be Baier or maybe Trochowski but both have to do a lot with itself. The form is not there right now and therefore they can not help the team.

After an EL game it is always very hard to recover and the rest was less compared to the opponent. Of course Leverkusen has to travel to Barcelona and played a hard game there but they have two days more to prepare for this encounter. This can be a huge advantage against a small team who does not know this intensive stress. Additional they have to travel to Leverkusen for this encounter what is additional stress. The team from Munich is very hard to beat in their Stadium and have a very good record to “Octoberfest” time. With Costa and Coman they signed two players who can make the difference if Ribery or Robben is not available. Both showed the skills already and Coach Guardiola is very pleased with them. The style of play is the same as last Seasons under him with a lot of ball possession and a very high and aggressive pressing against the ball. The outcome is very good with winning all matches in all competitions so far. With a clean sheet they are coming to this encounter and additional excellent wins and performances in bag.

After having a lot of problems last Season Dortmund is back in business, and with new Coach Tuchel on an excellent way right now. They started really well into the Season and had a lot of wins in a row after drawing twice in a row to 1899 Hoffenheim and SV Darmstadt. Bayern Munich defending always very high and with balls behind their defensive line they are getting always problems. With all the fast players from Dortmund can this be a very good reason to use this above all absolute in form Aubameyang is a really weapon then. He scored in all his BL starts this Season what is a new record and they hope this day too. But on the other side is Dortmund having some problems in defensive as well what brings Munich’s offensive in good positons with former Dortmund player Lewandowski who is on fire lately. Eintracht Braunschweig - Union Berlin

Both teams talked before the Season that they want to be under the top 6 but the situation is a bit different at the moment. Of course Braunschweig is with 14 Points one of the teams who is close to the top but they have a lot to improve above all at home where they can not convince recently. The last home game with 0-1 to Fürth was a big disaster for them after having a really good run. They may have to start a new streak if they want to close the gap to the top. On the other side has their opponent much more problems. The team from Berlin has already changed their Coach but the problems are still their and the performances are to average additionally. With the 3-2 win in bag they come to Braunschweig with some self confidence what let them hope to continue the winning run.

After last game Braunschweig has a huge problem in defensive today. Coach Lieberknecht has to replace 2 of the 3 in the back. The game to Fürth was not in their favor and also not their best defensive wise. First was Correia out due to injury worries and he is a big doubt now, the second one Decarli is out for sure after he was send off with yellow red card after undisciplined action against Gjasula. Therefore he has to search for two new players who can play his system in defensive line. It is very open what system he wants to use, he mentioned that this is very open right now and they can play with a 3 men defending back or maybe a 4 men line. But nevertheless they are able to bring a strong lineup on the pitch and Coach Lieberknecht believes that his team is ready for the second win at home. If both players are out, the defending line can be build with Baffo and Matuschyk in central back while Dogan returns from the second team on bench as back up for both if anything happened with them. Instead of Matyschuk can play Pfitzner in central midfield then. The offensive must also be changed a bit above all if they strength the defensive part they can play with two strikers maybe. But also there they have a big blow with the miss from top striker Berggreen who has a shoulder injury. Both Hvilsom and Ademi maybe gets a chance today to show that they are more as only substitute in Braunschweig. Also on the right wing he has a lot of options with Hochscheidt, Ofosu Ayeh, Khelifi who can be an alternative to weak Omladic who was in the starting lineup against Fürth.

After two defeats Union was able to beat bottom side Duisburg 3-2. They were already up 3-0 to half time but got in danger in second half because Trimmel missed the decider with a penalty which would have been the 4-1. Coach Lewandowski was not very pleased with his team and he wants to see the next step and also more quality in their play. This is the only solution to collect Points in the future.
Maybe he would be very happy to get a lucky Point in Braunschweig today according to his huge problems in defensive. They have with Schönheim, Leistner and Parensen 3 defenders out injured and also in central back tested Fürstner is a big doubt too. For this reason Lewandowski is thinking to play only the defensive line with 3 mens. This means that two back wings plays there and one central defender. The guys who should be take this part are Trimmel, Puncec and Kessel. Before the line in central midfield is Zejnullahu possible but also Fürstner can be an option if he can play. Both other players Daube and Kreilach are ready to create some offensive actions while they can strength their offensive with one man more if they play only with 3 in the back. In this case Korte can be a good choice here on the wing while Skrzybski plays on the other side. The attacker duo can be Brandy and Wood.

Hannover 96 - Werder Bremen

When both north clubs Hannover and Bremen face each other today we can expect a very hard fight according to both actual form. Hannover was never in form this Season while Bremen had a good start but showed a lot of weakness lately. It would be very interesting which team get back on track or showed an up trend for the upcoming matches now.

The home fortress from recent years is past, this was one of the key factor for Hannover’s success and basis to go through the Season without problems. Time has changes above all from last Season on where they were very close to be relegated but Coach Frontzeck managed the last and important Points with his team in the end. He got the trust for this Season again after his excellent work to the end of last Season. But he has to work with a team who has not the strength for “Bundesliga” above all after important key player Stindl left to Gladbach. Also some other players left and none of them were replaced even therefore they have not the quality right now. The team is very scary and insecure at the moment and Coach Frontzeck has a lot to do to give them the self confidence they need. The play from them was more as harmless until now and they showed only good style of play if they play against better teams like Dortmund 2-4, Leverkusen 0-1 and Wolfsburg 1-1. If they play teams a bit above them or teams with the same level they have a lot of problems. This is according to their less creative offensive players, only Kiyotake is the man who can lead the offensive and he was not available some time, the last two matches he showed good form but also problems if he gets tackled as against Stuttgart. If a team allows him not much space it is done with Hannover. At home they are winless and they were not able to collect a single Point and conceded already 8 goals in 3 games. They have a lot of problems if they must to be active and control the game above all at home if they must what speaks against them to Bremen again.

Hannover’s opponent Bremen may have the same problems if they have to play at home but away from home they did a great job so far. They are much more dangerous and create much more due to more space they get. The team from Coach Skripnik is much more balanced although they had some problems in the past. Above all losing to both newcomer Ingolstadt and Darmstadt and also some periods of the game against Leverkusen make the Coach very angry. He wants to see a much more professional attitude and warned his players. But in these matches was clear seen that they are not a team who can be active and play with ball possession like Bayern Munich or Borussia Dortmund. They are more a team who like the fast breaks which were excellent to 1899 Hoffenheim. This is more the style of play from Bremen. Additional the young team maybe has to learn from match to match and they are not such strong as expected maybe. Greuther Fürth - VfL Bochum

This match has a clear trend when Fürth hosts Bochum today. The home team has a great run and is absolutely in form right now while Bochum was on great run to begin but failed to win one of the last 4. Fürth was celebrating 4 wins in a row lately and is really on fire and aiming for their 5th of course. On the other side Bochum had 5 wins to begin but in the following matches they were not as clinical as they were to begin. In attack they have with Kumbela a very experienced player who replace Berisha. Despite his average form lately he should help the team. Also not available is Trinks due to illness.

Bochum travelled to Fürth as second placed team at the moment and they hope that they can turn things around in this top clash against 4th placed Fürth. But they know that all is possible in this close league and if they not able to bring all their power on the pitch it would be hard to win matches. They want the maximum here and therefore they are very focused and have a lot to play for anyway.
Compared to the last game Coach Verbeek does not think to make many changes. He is more a Coach who counts on a clear starting lineup only if anyone is not available or ready he changes. Also he is anyway very calming person with a lot of experience and he knows exactly what to do. He wants to send the same starting lineup on the pitch which lost to Kaiserslautern one week ago. The only change is the return from Petrel on the left back wing instead of Wijnaldum. He trusts his team, also average playing defender Cacutalua who replace injured Bastians at the moment but showed some weakness against Kaiserslautern. On bench he has some good replacements ready with Simunek and Weis, both returned from injury and maybe need still time to be at 100% but Eisfeld and Mlapa makes some pressure on the other guys.

1.FC Kaiserslautern - Fortuna Düsseldorf

After winning 2-1 to Bochum Fünfstück has a very good start as new Coach from Kaiserslautern. He turned things around and they are looking forward to his first match on home soil against average Düsseldorf. This team was expected much better this Season but after 9 matches they have only 6 Points and stand on Place 16. Nevertheless they can look on a very good record if they play on “Betzenberg” lately. Of course this should be continued if they do not want to bring their Coach Kramer more in danger as many talk very negative about him right now.

His first match on home soil is a difficult one and he expects an opponent who is very aggressive and fight for every meter. He knows this situation very well, above all after last away game when they came to Bochum in a very bad situation. This time coming Düsseldorf to them with the same situation and this opponents are always the most dangerous one.

Compared to the last game he said that he has almost all players ready. This means they are only without Fomitschow, Jacob and Schulze. The doubtful Zimmer and Przybylko expected to be ready for the game against Fortuna. It is not far away if they play the same style and also same formation 4-4-2 which was very good in last game and much better as some formations under former Coach Runjaic. Of course they have to confirm this but it looks like that Fünfstück has found the right way with the players who are there. They want to be as compact as they can, fight until the end and run like hell. They have to hurt FCK and try to bring them in danger. A big blow is the injury from Bellinghausen who was former Kaiserslautern player and has all the quality for such a game who is absolutely needed. Therefore he has to replace him but how it is very open. The first option can be that Holthaus plays the part from Bellinghausen and he has to change only position to position. The second one is more expensive with Schmitz moving from the middle to left back wing while Sobottka and Fink can play in the middle then. The more experience speaks for Fink and this is absolutely needed in a hot atmosphere there. On the left wing returns Schauerte after his illness and absent against Sandhausen. Also very open are both wings, Bolly is still injured and no option there anyway, Sararer is doubtful for today and Bebou could not convince lately. Eintracht Braunschweig - Greuther Fürth

Top clash between Eintracht Braunschweig and Greuther Fürth in 2.Bundesliga, to round up the ninth match day. This can be a very interesting one as both teams are absolutely in form at the moment after facing some problems to begin of the Season. Both are behind the top 3 with actual 14 Points but of course are able to close the gap with a win to one Point. Braunschweig is coming from an excellent run where they collected 13 from 15 possible Points and a goal difference from 16-0 from the last 5 matches what pushed them up to the top. But nevertheless their opponent today arrives with 3 wins in a row and 4 unbeaten matches. According to this we can see a match between these two sides who have a lot of self confidence and motivation.

Braunschweig’s Coach has a lot of respect but he said that the only target they have is to get 3 Points today. He is very pleased what Fürth is playing at the moment and they have to be warned about the strength. Therefore he expects an interesting game between two in form teams what would be a huge challenge for his team as well.

Compared to the last game to MSV Duisburg 5-0 on wednesday what was not such clear as the result showed he has no reason to change anything from starting lineup. It was only due to one man more on the field what allowed them to overcome MSV very easy in the end. The team look much more balanced as to begin of the Season and they maybe has found the right starting lineup who chimed together now. Most of the positions are assigned exactly 9 and both doubtful parts were the wings where Zuck and Ofosu Ayeh could convince recently that Coach Lieberknecht has no arguments to change again there. Although midfield player Schönfeld showed a good performance after he came in against Duisburg but is big doubt due to slight injury today. Also keeper Gikiewicz faces some problems but should be ready to play.

The trend is very positive from Fürth but Coach Ruthenbeck is not very happy according to their defensive play lately. They have to improve in this part and maybe be much more clever to be as compact as they can. With the offensive play he is very convinced because they are very dangerous and have a lot of good idea and are creative enough to create a lot of good opportunities.

For the starting lineup he has a lot of options and he has to make some hard decisions maybe. Although he can count on the winning team again, who beat Paderborn 3-0 under last week. But nevertheless changes can be possible as well.

The defensive part should remain unchanged but in central midfield is Hofmann an alternative and he can replace Sukalo against offensive minded Braunschweig. But also both can start to get more compactness against the home side which should try to make some pressure. The system much be changed from 4-1-4-1 to a more defensive minded 4-2-3-1.  For the two places on the wing are fighting Freis, Weilandt and Stiepermann. Last one was rested against Paderborn and can be an option here again. In attack hopes Kumbela to start against his former club Braunschweig although he is not in best moment right now and Berisha has the much better form what speaks for him again because against Paderborn got Kumbela the priority.

This can be an additional boost for them and the young team are doing very well and no one has expected that they work so good together from beginning on. But with FSV Frankfurt they face an in form team who managed to win 4 of their last 5 matches what is very positive for them. These are all Points against relegation and they are thinking nothing else. Of course they will be very happy if they get the next Point or Points in Freiburg anyway.

Therefore Freiburg's Coach Streich is warning already from FSV, they are in a very good moment and has a lot of euphoria at the moment what is very dangerous for them today. They have to be very concentrated and absolutely focused on the 90. minutes today. It can be a very hard task to beat this team from FSV, maybe the same as against Bielefeld.
Not many changes expected as the alternatives are less with Kübler, Möller Daehli, Grifo and Föhrenback they miss some again. Also Torrejon has some muscle problems and is a big doubt again. But nevertheless both central defender with Höhn and Kempf are ready, both did a great job lately. In offensive he has with Hufnagel a very good weapon in back who maybe can start today. This player is very hot at the moment and has a lot of self confidence after his goal against Bielefeld.

FSV Coach Oral mentioned some critic in home game to Union with their own supporters but this is gone and he is absolutely focused on this game now. He is very pleased with his team at the moment although the 3-2 win under the week against Union was a bit lucky, maybe a draw should have been deserved for both. He believes that they have a chance in Freiburg too and they are able to get something there. He mentioned that the team from Freiburg is offensive minded and if they can hold the pressure away from the defensive line and manage some counter attacks they can be successfully. But of course they need an excellent day and have to be as compact as they can. If all the other successful matches they like to play offensive minded teams as they can not control a game, they have not the players for this and therefore the counter style is their way for success.
Compared to the last game is captain Konrad slight injured, they hope all that he can play what means that the defensive line and central midfield remain the same. In offensive they may make some changes to bring in some freshness. Also they need fast and quick wings and strikers for their play today. With Dedic they have one who was only on bench last game, also winning goal scorer Schahin can be an option while Kapplani must on bench because he is more a box player. On the wing Barry should start again while on the other wing Engels can replace disappointing Safi.

1860 München - RB Leipzig

It is as always in Munich, if they do not have success they spoke a lot above all for a candidate to replace actual Coach Fröhling. Maybe this can be his last match if he manage not the first win with 1860 this Season. It is not always very easy for the players too to bring their best performance with all the rumors there. The match is not an easy one for them because it arrives one of the biggest promotion candidate with RB Leipzig at least they want to be and do the job. If they reach the goal is not sure yet. They are doing not so well and with only 13 Points they are a big behind the top what allow them not any gifts today. They have to win this one against a bottom team nothing more, nothing less. But if they remember them to last Season they managed a 3-0 win here what maybe give them some boost and motivation additionally.

1860 Coach does not talk about himself and he puts the focus totally on the match and the opponent today. He has some in mind how they can play and maybe overcome the giant. Nevertheless they have to invest a lot to be successfully in the end. Some changes are maybe possible compared to the last game in Sandhausen 1-1-. Bülow is sure out due to injury and he should be replaced form Rodnei who plays beside Schindler in central back. Also Schindler is slight injured but he wants to play. Some good news are coming from their injury list, attacker Okotie returns into the squad but should be on bench first. The next big problem for Fröhling is Liendl, the new player who came from Düsseldorf is not very pleased with his situation as he was on bench at least. He talked a lot with the media and was very angry about Fröhling and did not understand this. Maybe Fröhling gives him a change to begin again and let him show his skills but he has to deliver then. With Liendl in starting lineup it is possible that Vollmann plays in attack.

After only two 1-1 draws to Heidenheim and Freiburg Coach Rangnick is a bit under pressure not to lose the contact to the top. He has to win this game with his team today otherwise they have to go a long and hard way back if they reach the top and maybe the expected target in the end. On press conference said Rangnick that he was very pleased how his team is playing at the moment the only thing what was not so well is in front of the goal. It is not impossible that Leipzig comes with a different starting lineup compared to the last game. They had less time to recover as the match was on Thursday but the squad is very big and should not be a big problem to find the right replacements in some parts of the team. Sure not in squad are Boyd and Nukan who war both injured while Poulsen is ready after his illness some days ago. Maybe they play with 4-2-2-2 as practiced to begin of the Season with two attackers. The alternatives are there, Teigl for Ilsanker or Klostermann in central back. Midfield are Khedira and Kalmar options and in attack Quaschner. It is all about Rangnick how he decides but he mentioned not much about the starting lineup.

Hamburger SV - FC Schalke 04

We know that this is late but if someone prefer to bet on this game we advice you to take Hamburger SV. Of course both are in good shape and both are not conceding much in the last matches, maybe a low scoring game too. But Hamburger SV AHC 0 should be the best choice here. From 47 matches could Schalke win only 11 in Hamburg, also Coach Labbadia has a very good record against S04 and he did not lose the last games with Schalke. Also they are unbeaten at home since he took over as Head Coach. All in a all a perfect situation for Hamburg not to lose here. We believe in the BL dino who maybe found the right balance this Season and they are doing much better. Of course Schalke is always dangerous with their fast players but this time I trust HSV.

Here meet two teams each other which was hoping for much more before the Season but the reality is different. Both had a hard start while Union did a bit better with 7 Points from 8 matches but disappointed a lot so far and changed already their Coach. MSV is nothing right now with only 2 Points on their side and they are at the bottom. They are coming to Berlin with 0 Points on the road and also 0-7 goals, what speak not for them at the moment.

After Union changed their Coach they started really well with Lewandowski on the sideline and a 3-0 win to Karlsruhe. The next two matches they took two times the lead but could not win these matches, no they lost both to Fürth 1-2 at home and 2-3 in Frankfurt to FSV. Lewandowski said that he was not very pleased with the last two games and he saw some things which were not so positive in their play but also some good things are there but overall the next step is far away. If the results do not come in our sport you have not arguments and it is an absolutely result sport, nothing more and nothing less. Therefore this game is an important encounter for Union and a must win game too.
It looks like that they have an problem on the left back wing because with Schönheim is a player out maybe till January while Parensen got injured in Frankfurt and is out some weeks too. For this reason Lewandowski is thinking to field only 3 mens in the back what was the case under Düwel already. The guys which are preferred are Puncec, Leistner and Kessel who must jump one position back from offensive to defensive but should be not a problem at all. In this case can play Trimmel the offensive part but it is also if the Coach trust Skrzybski and his defensive work. Otherwise Trimmel is also an option for the other wing and Korte plays then the part on the other side. In central midfield he has some options with Fürstner or Zejnullahu who can play beside Kreilach there. In offensive it is all up to him what he wants to field as with striker Wood he has some alternatives beside him with Brandy, Quaner and Skrzybski.

Far away from good was MSV under the week against Braunschweig 0-5 and they showed nothing what allow some hope here. Sport Manager Grlic said that this is the last chance for Coach Lettieri, if he fails again and get nothing out of this game they fire him for sure. They are winless so far and they have to deliver results according to their bad situation. Nevertheless Lettieri is very positive before the game today. He said that they have watched the second half against Braunschweig with the team again and spoke a lot about their mistakes and what they can do better in some situations. The first half was ok and they want to find the right way to bring this performance on the pitch.
But who should play? They have almost none of the players ready. They miss with Bröker, Janjic, De Wit, Poggenberg, Brandstetter and Wiegel already 6 players but additional to these guys coming 3 suspended players with Feltscher, Holland and Albutat. Overall 9 players must be replaced what is not the best situation but they know this already from beginning on and maybe it is not much possible right now with all the absent players. With Obinna they have an player ready who got the playing license short before the game against Braunschweig and he played there already. The second new signing Chanturia is not ready for this game who was signed this week.
Compared to the game on wednesday they have with Feltscher and Holland two guys from starting lineup out. They must be replaced but who could? Maybe the offensive Bohl move back and plays defensive now while Grote comes into the starting lineup and plays offensive. Also Scheidhauer can be an option there but he has a lot of problems with muscle lately. Instead of Holland can play Hajri who is shortly back from injury and can not be at 100%.

Very interesting game, both teams have a lot of problems. Union is winless at home, MSV is winless in 8 matches but the problems from MSV are incredible above all all the missing players and he has to field every time a new lineup and also players have to play positions they never played before. If Union can not use this today they never get a better chance to win a home game against an opponent who is in an insecure position and have no self confidence additionally. Union did not lose one of the last 6 against MSV (4-2-0).

SC Paderborn - FC St. Pauli

One of the surprise teams this Season coming from Hamburg with FC St. Pauli, they were very close to be relegated last Season but this one they are doing really well and with 17 Points out of 8 matches they are third right now. They want to be on top for longer, of course but for this they need results also today. It can be a hard match against a team who was relegated form Bundesliga but have not found the right balance till now and stuck at the bottom now. With only 6 Points they need immediately Points to get not in danger more and more.

The hope was there above all after the 2-0 home win to KSC but some days later it was the same disaster as always and they lost 0-3 to Fürth. This was their 6 defeat this Season what allow not much to dream and it is the same amount as bottom team MSV. Nevertheless Gellhaus searching for excuses for this defeat but it is not the best way and all their negative attitude above all from the Press  carry not to better results. It may can be an important match for Coach Gellhaus because the pressure is very high on him as mentioned above. He has not the best standing and he has to deliver now.
The personal can be different to Fürth as he has mentioned something that he changes some but the tactic from 4-2-3-1 is the same as always. Sure maybe are keeper Kruse, central back with Hoheneder and Wahl and in central midfield Kirch and captain Bakalorz, but all the other positions are maybe open. On the left back wing can maybe Brücker play for Hartherz and on the offensive wing is Vucinovic an option instead of Koc. The intern suspended Stoppelkamp is not the in the squad again. In attack he has a lot of players for one position. Lakic is back from injury and ready, also Saglik is an option there where both put some pressure on position holder Proschwitz. It is all about statistic, Saglik played 5 times against his former club Pauli and he lost none of them 4-1-0 and scored 5 goals in these games, maybe a good sign to put him in as he should be motived of course.

After the international break St. Pauli is unbeaten and also kept 3 times a clean sheet what speaks for them at the moment and their good shape. They won to MSV 2-0 and Heidenheim 1-0 at home these days and in Braunscchweig they got a goalless draw two weeks ago. They are very pleased with the outcome so far but Coach Lienen warned already and he was looking forward to the upcoming matches. They have to work hard and not to dream from anything what they have not reached. He expects a very dangerous and hard match against Paderborn and demand the right attitude from his team.
Compared to the match on wednesday he has to changes his team. Central midfield player Alushi got injured and is out for this game, Buchtmann replaced him already against Heidenheim what speaks for him today again. Also in offensive part they change because with Dudziak returns a good and quick player. All the other positions remain unchanged and are the same as against Heidenheim. This means that Kalla who returns into the squad sit on bench first. The other guys Nehrig, Gonther and Miyaichi are still out injured.

Fortuna Düsseldorf - SV Sandhausen

Although Düsseldorf got a Point at Karlsruhe 1-1 on Tuesday they were not very pleased with because the performance was much weaker compared to the last away game in Bochum where they showed really good style of play and should have deserved much more as a Point there. Against Sandhausen who started very well with 3 wins in a row but waiting since 5 games for a win and fall down in second half of the table is Fortuna in a must win situation if they do not want to remain longer near relegation zone. After the first win against 1860 3-0 two weeks ago they want the second win in a row now.

Fortuna's Coach Kramer was very disappointed about the game in Karlsruhe. Moreover he was very angry about his team and he made a really hard video stadium from the game these days with his team. He hopes that his team has learnt something about this game for the encounter today. But the team is working hard on themselves therefore he can trust them anyway as he said in press conference.
The starting lineup was the same three times now and according to these three games they had really 2 good matches, only the last one was very disappointing what makes it not impossible that Kramer send the same lineup on the pitch again that they can recover. Also the tactic should be the same maybe a little bit more offensive minded because they play at home and has to be much more active. Sure in starting lineup is defender Strohdiek who made a big mistake against Karlsruhe and allowed them to equalize but he trust this guy and give him self confidence back. The next weak player was Bebou on the wing but there he has not alternative right now with the illness of Bolly. Maybe Pohjanpalo can play on the wing too but this it not the optimal position for him in an 4-2-3-1.

If you ask Sandhausen's Coach Schwartz you get an incredible answer about Düsseldorf. He mentioned before the game that Fortuna has the strongest squad form all 2.Bundesliga team right now. But they do not want to present some gifts there, no they want the three Points today. He made two changes in last game against 1860 1-1 with Zillner and Jovanovic who made the job very well because both were involved in the leading goal for them. But this is the 3 match in 7 days and he has to look for fresh players what is a clear reason for changes maybe. One of the candidates is Stolz, he had a very good training session and Schwartz was very happy and pleased with him. On the other side he has not many options left as with Zenga, Zellner, Vunguidica, Stiefler and Bouhaddouz are already a lot of players not available due to injury. In this case it can be also the same starting lineup as against 1860 Munich some days ago.

Two teams at almost at the bottom meet each other here. Both have different problems right now but they have also a lost a lot of power and this is their 3 match in 7 days what makes it not much easier for them. Düsseldorf has much more potential as they had brought on the pitch right now and they showed some uptrend lately while Sandhausen surprised to begin but are on an downtrend right now. With both teams legs are very tired we can see maybe a lot of mistakes in defensive what speaks clear for goals, both offensive lines are able to score. I trust them to bring home at least 3.

VfL Bochum - 1.FC Kaiserslautern

After 5 wins to begin VfL Bochum was not able to win since 3 matches. They played them all draw and all their rivals are coming closer the last days. Nevertheless they are still on top and can hope for a excellent Season with this basis anyway. Today's opponent have much more problems right now, trouble in and around the club. Coach Runjaic said good bye because was thinking that he can not help the team anymore and wants to set a new sign. With only 9 Points form 8 games it was not the best anyway. With this action he wants to reduce the pressure a bit on the team, because a new Coach has much more credit to begin as he mentioned and with Fünfstück they have already a new Coach on the sideline today. He comes from the youth teams and U23 where he has done his job as Coach.

In Bochum they have followed the things very well but Coach Verbeek said already that he does not expect an absolutely different playing team now. In short time you can not changes so much and with the match some days ago the time was less anyway. He expect a lot of changes in starting lineup but the style of play can not be different. He wants to look on his team and with the matches past they have done a great job but they have to show their good shape from week to week, it must be confirmed as he said. They want be dominant and also control the game. Additional he does not want to allow many changes as against Fortuna Düsseldorf some days ago.
The first time he must changes his starting lineup which was 8 times the same what was a new record in 2.Bundesliga. But with Bastian's injury he has to change there. He was replaced already in Bielefeld from Cacutalua who has the best chances to play again as with Simunek a real candidate for this position in central back is injured. He maybe should have been the better choice as he has much more experience. According to the trainings sessions it can be that Verbeek change more, Perthel looked a bit tired and should get a rest while Wijnaldum can replace him on the back wing.

Two days ago Fünfstück has taken over as head Coach in Kaiserslautern. He has not many time to changes a lot but he mentioned that he wants to make tactic and lineup according to the available players. He wants to play what the squad allows nothing more, nothing less. His first changes was the captain who is Halfar now instead of Löwe. The first hard decision to get some respect maybe.
What starting lineup he fields is more as open we can only make a bit of speculation. One thing is clear with Ziegler is a guy out suspended after his red card against Nürnberg, he can be replaced by Mockenhaupt or Vucur who plays beside Heubach in central back then. Very possible is also the return from experienced Karl before the defensive row to get more compactness with him in Kaiserslautern's play. In attack could Görtler made some advertising against Nürnberg and may is a candidate for totally out of form looking Przybylko. But overall they do not have a real replacement in attack, the squad is to small maybe.

RB Leipzig - SC Freiburg

Both teams are contenders for promotion as both are named by the experts before the Season already. Both have done their work so far and they are in a circle of teams who plays for promotion. Despite only 12 Points out of the first 7 matches it is much work to do but overall the young team is very convinced that they doing better and better in the upcoming matches. The basis should be there and they are aiming for promotion this Season anyway. Therefore a lot of pressure on Coach Rangnick and his team. Their opponent from Freiburg did much better with 16 from 21 possible Points and are second at the moment but with a win today they can jump on top. After they got relegated they are very fast in good shape and also find a good balance in team with all the young and a bit unexperienced players. Away from home they have won 3 from 3 and they are looking for the next win this evening.

It was not all well in Leipzig these days above all Coach Rangnick was not very pleased with the outcome in Heidenheim 1-1. Above all the unnecessary foul from defender Orban who allowed Heidenheim to equalize with a penalty. Also they were absolutely dominant there but they were not able to get some of their good actions finished. It may can happen but if you are egoist as striker it is not so good for the team above all if a player has the much better position and can easily score. This was mentioned from Rangnick in an interview and he meant Yussuf Poulsen who was not a team player in this game.
The offensive remain the same as in Heidenheim with Sabitzer, Bruno, Forsberg and alone striker Selke. Poulsen is no option for the starting lineup according to his illness in recent days. He could not train additional, but sit on bench. Also the defensive lineup maybe is the same too, but nevertheless they have a very strong squad and a lot of options or alternatives are there for sure.

The outcome from the last game was not like they expected in Freiburg, only a 2-2 draw against newcomer Bielefeld who was an even opponent and fight very hard for the Point. Maybe it was positive to see that they are able to come back in a game because they were already 0-2 down but managed to get a Point in the end. Coach Streich saw the positive things and he mentioned that they travel to Leipzig with a lot of self confidence because he knows that they are able to play good football and also have the weapons to bounce back in a game.
Despite the last game they do not want to fall behind today, they want to be active and a very awful opponent for Leipzig today. Squad wise there are not many changes according to the injury list. Midfield player Grifo, Kübler and Möller Daehli are still out injured while Kleindienst return into team training after a long injury time but he is not option as he needs still time. The only player who maybe can be an alternative is Hufnagel who scored the equalizer against Bielefeld because he had really good actions and played very fresh what put some pressure on Guede. It is up to Streich whom he wants to field if the quickness from Hufnagel or the fighting spirit from Guede. Also Torrejon can be an option for the central back where Höhn and Kempf played lately.

FSV Frankfurt - Union Berlin

The team from Frankfurt FSV has lost the last 3 duels with Union but going into the game very self confident according to the 9 Points out of the last 4 matches. Although Union had a good start under new Coach Lewandowski but it was not all well by the 3-0 win in Karlsruhe and also it was seen with the 1-2 home defeat under him. What was the first big disappointment right now. If they do not want to lose the contact to the places above they have to win this encounter, it is almost a must for them.

After the first matches you saw where the problems for FSV lies. They have a lot of problems if they play at home and could only collect 3 Points there. They do not have the players to control or make a game, they are more a team for counter attacks. The outcome away from home is much better with 7 Points. But Coach Oral did not allow such statements and he is very pleased with his team and he is very confident that they can also play a good home game. Additional he mentioned that they could have won all home games with a bit of luck too. But it is a process and they are learning from match to match and it is sure that the team and the structure is very good and he allows them to make mistakes.
Compared the to last game in Duisburg 1-0 are not many changes expected despite 3 matches in 7 days. Also the tactic with 4-4-2 should be the same as they did very well although they had a lot of luck that MSV did not score. All parts of the team has a lot to improve after the last game. It is not obvious that he changes something in the offense because with Dedic he has a player for counter attacks and Kapllani has his strength more if they must control the game and also is a box player..

Coach Lewandowski was very pleased with the first 45 minutes against Fürth but he was not so surprised that they lose the control of the game in second half totally. He said that they want to be an active team, former Coach Düwel let play more passive and for this reason he was not surprised. The team have to learn from match to match and he wants to give them some solutions on hand but they should not to be so impatient. After the 3-0 win in Karlsruhe he hopes for the same outcome in Frankfurt what will let them work much more relaxed as getting nothing there. According to the performance from the team was ok he does not want to changes something here. It was only the standard kicks from Gjasula who made the difference in the game against Fürth. Therefore he can not blame his team anything. Maybe due to less alternatives he allow the same mates to recover. With Thiel, Nikci and Schönheim are anyway three players not available.

Very close encounter where two team meet each other who have a lot of problems at the moment. If in defensive or offensive, they produce a lot of mistakes. FSV Frankfurt plays more conservative while Union is an active team what change this home game a bit and FSV can go for counter because of more space while Union is able to control the game. Both should be much stronger and able to create some opportunities what allow them to score goals because both defending lines are not the strongest. Some will say that this is a risky one according to only 2 goals FSV scored at home but I am sure that they score today against an weak Union defensive who allowed a lot, they were really lucky in Karlsruhe not to concede and on the other side Union's offensive is always good for goals. I believe that both score and if the match goes wide open then the third is coming too.

Maybe they face not the optimal opponent with Braunschweig because after having a very awful and slow start Braunschweig is in great shape now. They were able to get 10 Points form the last 4 matches and concede not a single goal in these games.

MSV Coach Lettieri was not very pleased with the 0-1 lose to FSV Frankfurt some days ago. He had seen a good playing offensive from Duisburg but they were not able to use best possible opportunities to score. It was maybe very unlucky to lose this encounter. He hopes that they can create the same amount again and this time they finish all their good actions. He saw a team in the right way, they missed only to score goals but as always in football some days later you get a new chance to recover and for this he hopes greatly. Normally he should be fired already but it is only due to the huge injury problems they face he got a chance again. But sooner or later he has to deliver results otherwise that was it for him in Duisburg. Maybe if they get some success back with a win they maybe play much more relaxed and believe in them again.
Squad wise they have one more player out due to the red card from Albutat against FSV on sunday. One good news is that Hajri returns into the squad but he has only 45 minutes match praxis in second team so far after his injury and this is may to less to start immediately today. Also some positive sign comes from Dausch who face a knee injury but he wants to play and he can replace Albutat in central midfield. Additional is Scheidhauer an option to start after coming in against FSV because of slight injury problems but these are gone now. Not ready is Obinna who has not license so far to play.

The Eintracht Coach Lieberknecht showed a lot of self confidence in press conference as he said that he wants to see a win from his team in Duisburg. This time they want to do a better job but for this they have to start to score goals in their own stadium too. They were not able to score a single goal in 3 home matches and also could not win one there.

Coach Meier was very pleased with he outcome and the game from his team in Freiburg. They did the job there and got a Point against a team who are aiming for more. Maybe this can be a good reason for them today too. They get more space against a team who is very offensive minded and where they do not make the game, they can go on counter attacks like some days ago. The defensive line looked very compact against Freiburg only in the end where they stand under huge pressure they made some mistakes but in first half it was really well.
Compared to the match in Freiburg there is no reason for Coach Meier to changes anything. He has not the alternatives anyway as with Strifler, Brinkmann, Müller, Salger and additional van der Biezen are a lot of alternatives out due to injury. Maybe a changes can be made on the wing where Hemlein has an uptrend but he could not convince also like all the other players on this position. Therefore maybe Affane can be a good choice here and the next test for Meier, but it is very open of course.

Bochum's run was stopped in the last two games although they did not lose but they lost the first Points. But Coach Verbeek is very pleased with the team and the outcome so far. He wants to bring the same starting lineup for the eighth time now. He does not like to changes or rotate much. He said that all the players are fit and why should he changes anything or rest some players for the next game. He mentioned that they have training normal and prepared to this game as always. The players are all young and they recover very fast. He wants to count on his strongest lineup of course, also because of the huge respect he has for the home side. He spoke very well from Arminia who is very compact and has a lot of fighting spirit and play very organized. Also they do not allow many opportunities to score goals therefore they have to be warned and ahead of all the actions to be very effective. The only changes he has to made was to replace injured Nando Raffael. He will be replaced by Novikovas on bench for today.

1.FC Kaiserslautern - 1.FC Nürnberg

These two teams had meet each other several times in 1.Bundesliga already but times has changed hardly for both. They are aiming for more in 2.Bundesliga but it is far away because both has a lot of problems. Of course they want soon back in 1.Bundesliga but FCK is trying it some years now and failed always while Nürnberg had a hard last Season after were relegated from 1.Bundesliga. This is their second Season in a row there now but they are doing only average and this is too less for the top.

After two defeats in a row Kaiserslautern got a Point in Munich by 1860. Coach Runjaic said that this was a step forward but if you have watched the game it was nothing form them. If they lose this encounter it is not sure if he sit on bench at the weekend. The pressure is high and he has to deliver results according to their big aim promotion.
Before the game in Munich he has changed the defensive line what is expected to be the same again. In this case Ziegler got the advantage against Vucur while ahead in midfield plays Ring central. On the wings are Halfar and Jenssen candidates. But overall they have to be much more powerful and bring the offense from FCK rolling. According to the last games it was harmless and therefore some changes in attack maybe possible. It is not far away that Görtler gets a chance today because Coach Runjaic talked very well from him. Out of the starting lineup are Pich or Piossek, one of them are for sure on bench but it can be both because they missed almost all lately. Also attacker Przybylko could not convince in the last games, the only good game he had in opening game against Duisburg. All the other matches were weak and he wasted a lot.

After 10 Points out of 4 home games Nürnberg coming to "Betzenberg" to collect the first Points on the road. They are very harmless away from home and they coming with 3 defeats in bag. Coach Weiler mentioned that they have to be much more active and accept the fight. Compared to the last game changes can be as Coach Weiler said with 3 games in 1 week he has to find the right balance and look which player has the freshness to help the team right now. But overall it is not expected that he changes much above all after the good game against Sandhausen on sunday. In this case defender Bulthuis can remain in central back maybe although Margreitter is back from illness and ready. What gives Coach Weiler a good option for a change.
It is very exciting with which midfield he wants to begin here. With Behrens and Leibold were two guys very good against Sandhausen but with Polak coming a player in who scored and maybe decide the match with his goal. But on "Betzenberg" where they face surely a very hot atmosphere it can be good to have some experienced player in team like Polak. The other positions maybe remain unchanged. Out for the game are Mössmer and Kerk who are both injured.
