The typical VfL Osnabrück is back on his old way above all
at home where they are a very strong side and very hard to beat infront of
their hot crowd. After the lose against Münster what was a derby some fans were
huge frustrated and had some absolutely bad words against some players in the
last match at Chemnitz. But this should be gone now because they won deserved
2-0 there and are near the top of the table. Coach Wollitz can choose from a
good squad where only the long term injured players are missing (with Thomik,
Hansen, Porcello, Wolf and Pauli). As i mentioned it is absolutely hard to play
there and under floodlight they are known for their strenght. They had an
excellent record some time ago. Osnabrück will come out and put a lot of
pressure on Darmstadt and they have the weapons to overcome them.
After coach Runjaic left SV Darmstadt 98 to sign a contract
at MSV Duisburg former coach from Stuttgart II tooks over. After Seeberger was
on the line for Darmstadt they are unbeaten in two matches so far. They were
0-2 down at Hallescher FC but got a draw. And at the weekend they celebrate
their first win against his former Club with 3-1 and left also the red zone.
They should be huge motivated now and they saw that they are able to win what
give a lot of self confidence as well. But one of the biggest problems should
be the personal at the moment. Their playmaker Elton da Costa reutrns last
weekend after injury and played some minutes but it is not absolutely sure if
he stands in the starting lineup so fast. Sure missing is Benjamin Baier who
got injured and also Zimmermann stayed in Darmstadt while Hübner travel with
the team but is a big doubt. On the other side face Gorka some problems but he
should be able to play.
