Bayern München - 1899 Hoffenheim

Bayern Munich started very well into the new season and with 6 wins out of 6 matches they are on the top of the table. If they win again it waves a new start-record for them. Also they are creating and scoring for free at the moment, with 19 goals scored and only 2 conceded says all. They have dominated all their opponents so far and keep 4 times a clean sheet. With their excellent squad Coach Heynckes can rotate a lot and he did already. So far, no weakening be established whether Martinez instead of Gustavo, Shakiri instead of Ribery, Müller instead of Robben, Pizzaro instead of Mandzukic  or Shakiri instead of Kroos and so on played. Overall they were on a 9 matches win streak this season after losing their Champions League match against Bate Borrisov 1-3. They put a lot of pressure on Bate but had not the luck to take the lead above all Kroos hit the post while Bate scored some minutes later. Bayern tried a lot but failed at that day and Bate showed their strength over counter attacks. After this match I must laugh a bit about the reporting. Almost all Reporters, Media or Experts praised the good play from Bayern Munich and the rotation from Coach Heynckes and after the first lose it is all wrong. Sorry, but this is typical for our world and like media reporting. I see this a bit different as many of them and I like the way they act or react. In October, Bayern is always very strong, especially at “Octoberfest time” where they win most of their matches and in their excellent condition it is very acceptable. They miss Gomez and Alaba.

1899 Hoffenheim has huge aim’s this season above all their Coach Babbel put it enormously high. They talk from an international place but the reality is more different. They started very bad and their defensive looked very weak and conceded a lot. Also they continue like last season where they won not much the whole season. After 6 matches they won twice and one draw among 3 defeats. Their positive run comes in their past matches but they played not really good teams at the moment. Against Hannover they won 3-1 but H96 looks a bad traveler this season, also derby against Stuttgart 3-0 won but Stuttgart made many mistakes and was totally out of form at this day. Against Augsburg last weekend they got a 0-0 but they were the weaker side of two weak teams. But we have to mentioned to their favor that after a huge car-accident from Boris Vukcivic, all are down and mentally not in their best condition. Some who were in the stadium or watched it on TV saw that the players did not react as usual. I saw some interviews from Coach and Manager and all said the same. It is not possible to get back to normal live or normal work/training. Very sensitive situation at the moment for 1899 Hoffenheim and this continue because the condition from Vukcivic is stable but still critical. It means a very difficult match ahead and additional many problems they face at the moment. It is very hard to getting focused on soccer which is a big disadvantage against leader Bayern Munich. They always had a hard time at Allianz Arena and got trashed in the past matches and lost also all they last 4 meetings there. Overall they are to harmless at the moment to be an equal opponent, mentally, defensive and offensive wise. They miss Vukcevic, Salihovic, Wiese, Chris, Jaissle and Gregoritsch (U23)
