SV Sandhausen - VfR Aalen

The sign in this encounter between the two newcomers could hardly be more different. While SV Sandhausen started very well into the season but failed almost in the last 5 matches and got only one point there they are at the bottom of the table now, came VfR Aalen with huge self confidence after three consecutive wins in a row. The only 2nd Bundesliga team who took 9 points with 6-0 goals in the past 3 matches. The same stability is missed the last few weeks for Sandhausen but be lacking of huge injury problems and in this case they miss also a lot of potential.

SVS coach Dais must continue to do without six injured players, the three wings Klotz, Adler and Riemann can join until next week to training. Long term injured Schauerte, Danneberg and Dorn will turn out anyway for some time. Despite the thin squad for Dais a conversion of the starting lineup, expecially since the high number of goals conceded in recent matches is maybe possible. He did not name names but probably will have to give up his place Busch on the right back in favor of Falkenberg again now.  But Dais said also that not everything that was good before, can be bad now. He can only work with his available players and he wants to make the best out of it.

Also VfR coach Hasenhüttl has not all players available. Kister, Aydemir missing through injury while left back and center back Hübner is still questionable. Hofmann, however who had to take a break ill beginning of the week is ready for today again. So far he could also rely on his alternatives as the past games have shown. In offensive he has the choice between Reichwein and Cidimar who was already quite good at his second match as starter against FSV Frankfurt. Aalen plays very effective and they use their chances they get very well. According to this it is not far away to trust them a lot today.
