After starting a bit weak into the new season they were in a good moment in the past. With some wins they climbed in table and advanced in Cup. Therefore why trust a team without any positive background, in this case FSV Mainz 05 should be the much better choice here. They are able to create some dangerous situations and also score. If they can bring only some of them they brought in the past matches they should win this above all if they score twice, Nürnberg should not be able to exceed. Maybe they can score one, but never two. Futhermore Mainz failed only once to score in 10 matches this season. So I have the bigger trust in Mainz here.
