Only four points between both teams in the table but after 1.FC Kaiserslautern is set as a promotion candidate is Ingolstadt not really a serious one, only called from some experts. Despite this glory from some experts they do not really want to play such a role they would be more happy to have an easy season without any relegation trouble. However it is more different in Kaiserslautern they maybe have the pressure to return and all in all if they fail it would be more a big disappointment.

At Ingolstadt coach Oral has not much to change because he has found his starting eleven for this season and they did a good job so far. The only two sure things are that Biliskov returns for Guensch as central defender while 1st keeper Özcan is out injured and he will be replaced by Sascha Kirchstein.

At least away from home Kaiserslautern is on the way back to 1.Bundesliga as the perfect record of three wins in three away matches shows while only one  match was won from five at home. Coach Foda hopes for another strong away performance from his team and climb up in the table although Baumjohann and Azaouagh they have 2 imp. midfielder out for today. Both were not available against Braunschweig too and additional long term are Alushi and de Wit not available. This means that the young Borysiuk and Linsmayer play again on the double six. But they have also some good news with the returning of captain and imp. striker Bunjaku who are able to play and should be build with Idrissou an dangerous striker duo as done before the injury from him. But Coach Foda also thinking of 4-2-3-1 where Bunjaku plays on the wing but maybe for this system he has less options as available players. No other changes expected, only maybe long term injured DEF Simunek return into the squad and should be on bench the first time this season.
