Saturday 1.BL Update !!!

Eintracht Braunschweig - FC Augsburg

The home team comes to this encounter with a lot of self confidence, they need the win here to have a chance to avoid relegation. But a win is a must otherwise the chance is gone but it depends also on the other teams. Augsburg should also win to have a chance on the 7th place and for the EL next season. With a win they can put a lot of pressure on Mainz, even more if Mainz lose today in Gladbach.


1.FC Nürnberg - Hannover 96

This is a must win for Nürnberg to have the chance for the 16th place. With a win they have it but after 8 matches without any success it is hard to believe in this team. They changed the Coach before the last match but they lost 0-2 again. All hopes now on this hope game against Hannover who plays for nothing. Hannover was in trouble but they managed it and they are out and safe now. Club has a lot to play for and also some players returns today to help.


Hamburger SV - Bayern München

If Hamburg lose, Nürnberg or Braunschweig win, it is almost the relegation for HSV. The team who never must go down and they are the team who have played always in BL since start on. This can be the first time and it will be a hard one too as they have a lot of financial problems right now. Some talk about over 100 Mio. minus. If they must go down it is not sure that they get the license for the 2.BL maybe. The worst case would be that they must go down to Regional League North and start from new. The situation is getting worse there and exactly to this time they face the giant Bayern Munich. Ok Bayern has problems too but HSV with a lot of important players out it is almost helpless here.


Bor. M'Gladbach - FSV Mainz 05

Both teams fight for EL spot and both have to play for a lot here. It is not sure where can take advantage here. Both teams are in good shape and both are doing well in the past matches what makes it very hard to predict here anything.


Werder Bremen - Hertha BSC Berlin

Both teams play for nothing, all is done. Only for a better place and maybe more money from DFL.


Borussia Dortmund - 1899 Hoffenheim

This is the next match without any interest. Fun shot out maybe ....... Goals Goals Goals !!!


Eintracht Frankfurt - Bayer Leverkusen

Frankfurt safe, Leverkusen is fighting for the CL spot and have to look that they get Points. With a win they can put some pressure on Schalke if S04 fail in Freiburg.


VfB Stuttgart - VfL Wolfsburg

Stuttgart with 5 Points ahead of the red zone can be a bit more relaxed as in the past. On the other side Wolfsburg is almost in a must win situation if they want to jump on one of the last CL places 3 or 4.
