After the EL matches are over for Freiburg they are much more focused on the league and they play really great in the past matches. Ok sometimes they had luck but this was missed in the first half of the season. Now luck is back and they go on and try to get as much Points as they can. Coach Steich motivates his team very well and all follow him now. It is not important if they are ahead of down, they play fresh and with a lot of self confidence and they have nothing to lose now. They are already safe and this is an important fact more. Also they know that they can turn matches around what they have done in the last two. The scoring machine is working also well and the offense is always dangerous in these days.
After a huge run Schalke looked very tired as I wrote many times now. The huge injury list is to much and Coach Keller could not change much and all the young guys have to play the whole 90 minutes in the past. This is what I am talking already several times. The batteries are empty but they should try to get the target done as they have not much left. They need Points immediately otherwise the other teams behind overcome them short before the finish line. With two matches to go they are under pressure today. A win is almost a must to safe the 3rd position.
Overall I expect a very open match, Freiburg has nothing to lose and they try to put a lot of pressure on S04 today above all after winning 4 matches in a row at home they have a lot of self confidence. They can come out and have fun and playing without any pressure while Schalke have to look that they get Points here, but if the first goal comes here, I am sure that more come ..... both can not defend the lead, they walk on. In my eyes the OVER is a very good investment here.
