Here we have two teams who are both on a huge downtrend. Bochum started well but missed a lot in the past and they are trying to get the first win since 7 home games now. It is almost the same situation as last season where they were only able to get 10 wins overall. Therefore if they do not want to fall down more it is very important to celebrate the first home win with their fans today. According to their opponent it is the right time because Aalen is on bottom now and comes to Bochum winless since a long time too. Also away from home they are winless since last season. But, of course they have nothing to give away here as they need every point especially in their situation.
For this game Coach Neururer plans a huge pressing with his team and let train it the whole week. He wants to put some pressure on Aalen’s defensive and hope that they produce some faults and let his team come to easy opportunities to score. After 3 defeats in a row and the big fall to bottom it is very important to Aalen to get back otherwise the gap is getting bigger to the safe zone. They are under huge pressure today because they need results. Coach Ruthenbeck is safe and he trusts his team anyway. For me it is the perfect time for Bochum to get the first win against a team who has the same big problems. Nevertheless it can be a close one but in the end I expect a win for the home team. Aalen is to harmless anyway and scored hardly. Bochum’s time !!!
