Hannover 96 - Werder Bremen

We have again a encounter between two teams which different aims. The home team has a lot to play for because with 24 Points to winter break they were on 8th place and looked more up as down but after the break they are on a huge 15 matches winless run and got only 6 Points on their side what put them down to red zone and the situation is getting dangerous for them. On the other side Bremen was in a bad position at winter break but Skripnik found the key to get them rolling again and they are close to reach an international spot this season after a long time now.

The winless run continues although it was a won Point last weekend because they were 0-2 down in Wolfsburg and after the half time they managed the comeback. Of course it was only due to the relaxed playing team from Wolfsburg but nevertheless they had the winning goal on their shoe with Prib but he missed. New Coach Frontzeck was not very pleased about his team and he wants more concentration and more input from his team in relegation battle. Good news are that captain Stindl is back from suspension and can help his team again.

It looked like that the same situation from last season happened again in Bremen but Coach Skripnik was able to turn things around and they start to be a very hard opponent for some of the BL teams and they used their good counter style to be as successful as they can. Some players make a bit step forward under Skripnik and the style of play is also a big plus for some of the players. The euphoria is there and they want to be as successful as they can but it is not a must as Manager Eichin said. He can count on Vestergaard after he missed last match but he missed Prödl therefore it is a 1-1 replace in defensive.
