Jahn Regensburg - MSV Duisburg

Some can't believe, some can't understand it but what they saw it was an excellent performance from newcomer Jahn Regensburg against 1860 Munich. They were by far the better team and played really good in defense and over counter attacks they hurt 1860 often and a lot. This match was absolutely lost undeserved. They created a lot and missed a penalty in the end too. As I told already in an other post, this was maybe the inexperience from the young team or maybe some of the players who played never on this level. They want to do better, especially their first home match against MSV Duisburg should become successful.
Manager Gerber is still working on the squad and signed on loan Djuricin from Hertha BSC Berlin. He is a 21 years old striker and should help to be more successful infront of the goal as they were in Munich. Additional 2-3 players should come to give coach Corronchano more options and maybe also some leaders on the pitch. They miss with Hein, Kurz and J-P. Müller maybe still imp. guys.
As i said already with Djuricin and Tim Erfen back from ban are 2 players more available for them now. But for sure after such an excellent performance, Corronchano count on the same eleven.

MSV Duisburg came from a home desaster against VfR Aalen. They took the lead but were trashed from a more motivated and total quick Aalen side. They never had a chance in this match and was always one foot behind their opponent who played a really fresh and fast match. Ok, Duisburg missed some important players like Gjasula, Koch and Perthel are out and the others are not ready. It looks like that the same squad is available for coach Reck as from last match. But I think he will make some changes above all Antonio daSilva should be in starting line up after he has one week more in training with his team mates after went over from Borussia Dortmund, also Exslager should be an option in offense after his suspension.
Additional one day before the game at the SSV Jahn Regensburg, the pressure on Oliver Reck is high. Even after just a game and with a big loss to VfR Aalen. He gets a huge criticism from his own rows and with setences like this form MSV Boss Rüttgers: "A coach is always at your disposal and under observation." It is not easy for him and the following matches now. He needs some results at present. If he loses against Regensburg maybe it is not the knock out for him but in the following matches against Hallescher FC (Cup) and Dynamo Dresden (H) results are expected.
