Bayern München - Greuther Fürth

This was the first from three goals from BM at Fürth !!

Amazing first half of the season from Bayern Munich so far. They showed that they do not want to pass third season in a row without a title. They are huge focused on their opponents / matches and coach Heynckes found the right words or tactic to overcome all at the moment. They made a very good preparation and also their friendlies were very well as they won all very easy and keep in all of their 4 matches a clean sheet while scoring for fun. Maybe some of you think now, sure they played average teams or lower league teams, no not always as with Schalke, Basel and Ahl Ahly are all teams with normally huge class, the only lower opponent was SpVgg Unterhaching. For the second half of the season coach Heynckes welcome back some players who were injured or almost out for the first half as with Robben, Gustavo and Gomez (fully fit now) he has more options again. The only missing at the moment is long term injured DEF Badstuber who is out with a huge knee injury.  Moreover the future on the line is also decided as Guardiola signed a contract as coach at Munich. Therefore Heynckes go in his last half of the season and then retire. Maybe he is available for some consulting position for the club, but we will see what happen. The hype was huge in the past with Guardiola but I do not think that the players are much affected here because they want to go onwards and win some and celebrate with Heynckes a good season and allow him a good farewell.

Bottom team Greuther Fürth needs points and this immediately as they are far away from safe zone and if they continue like in the first half of the season they are for sure the first relegation candidate. They score much to less and also allow almost in all matches goals against. It is very hard as they were not always the weaker team. They played well or good in some matches but get not rewarded as they were even not able to score goals. Above all Asamoah missed a lot and for this they signed Djurdjic who did well in preparation and friendly matches but got injured and is not available for this match. Also some other guys like imp. midfielder Prib, Schmidtgal and suspended Mavraj will miss this one. Mikkelsen and Onuegbu are not in the squad anyway, also Tyrala is no option as he has to work on his comeback after huge knee injury. Coach Büskens has not the best situation at the moment but he was always down in first half already as his team get not rewarded for their good matches. He wants to  do better and hope that they are able to do, he believe in it. But overall, I think it is hopeless.

Overall Fürth can take this match very easy as they know that they are not able to get anything here, maybe if Bayern has a very weak day but this is almost impossible. Big big favorite for this one should be home side and they take this serious and want to hold the pressure on the teams behind high. A good start will help them to go step for step and hold all aims alive.
