Hamburger SV - VfL Wolfsburg

Statistic:

- Hamburg could not win a single home game in the last 6 against Wolfsburg (0-2-4).
- The last home win was 2007 with 1-0.
- Under Slomka Hamburg is unbeaten at home in 5 (3-2-0).
- They conceded in these 5 matches not much at least 1 each game.
- In the last 22 matches, Wolfsburg scored always. The longest run in BL at the moment.
- HSV could not win a Top match on Saturday evening in 14 attempts (0-6-8).
- This is negative record since the Top match take place on Saturday evening (2009/10).

Important missing for Hamburg once again with Lasogga and Van der Vaart who is a big doubt and Westermann.

Wolfsburg must replace young midfield player Malanda who got injured against Dortmund in Cup under the week.

North derby and important match for both sides. Hamburg is looking to get Points against relegation and on the other side Wolfsburg wants the CL spot this season. I wrote it already in the past weeks that Slomka is a Coach for home games. In his last station at Hannover it was the case that they played really great at home and awful away and the success was only there in home games and away from home it was terrible from season to season always the same. Once he took over in Hamburg they did much better at home and he is unbeaten there so far in 5 starts !!! On the road he is winless. It is a little bit funny but maybe he can only Coach home games and on the road he has always the wrong tactic or the wrong decisions. Despite important missing above I mean that they are fighting hard today to get some out of the match. The power should be there and the supporters as well and their biggest hope is Calhanoglu.

The team from VW town has a lot to play for this season and they want the biggest success after the title some years ago. This is the CL spot. The players are there and the money anyway with VW as Sponsor. Therefore they have only to walk on but the results must come in the last match otherwise they are only in the EL competitions. They played not bad in Dortmund but missed too many good chances and if they had not missed all these it would have been much closer and maybe they can stand in the Cup final against Bayern. But the truth is different. Coach Hecking has to motivate his team new and then go out and try to do it better as in Dortmund.

Close match expected where HSV can be a hard opponent in my eyes despite the awful record against Wolfsburg.
