Hannover 96 - Hamburger SV

Statistic:

- Hannover lost only 1 of the last 11 home matches to Hamburg (0-1 07/08).
- Last season H96 won 5-1 against Hamburg, but at this time Slomka was on Hannover bench.
- Hannover lost all their last 4 BL games, this happen at least 4 years ago with 9 defeats.
- But Hamburg has a lot problems too, as they lost their last 6 road games.
- Coach Slomka is maybe only a home Coach as on the road he is winless since 12 (3 HSV 9 H96).
- Both teams has a lot of pressure and both are fighting against relegation.

A lot of unavailable players as you can see that in the following update.

Hannover without Cherundolo, Felipe, Pocognoli, Huszti, Diouf, Sobiech and on HSV side they have to replace Jansen, Lam, Rajkovic, Badelj, Beister and Lasogga.

After the huge defeat in Derby against Braunschweig Coach Korkut has a lot of pressure today. If he loses again with his team they are big involved in relegation battle. Nevertheless he has to replace important players because with Huszti is his creative player in midfield suspended after his 5th yellow card last sunday. Also DEF Hoffmann is out after his blackout and his red card. In this case he must look for new players who can play with all the pressure and the hot atmosphere ..... it seems that Schlaudraff and Prib are the two guys for the mentioned above. But they have to improve a lot according to their performance in Braunschweig above all the defensive line with Sane was the biggest weak point in all team parts. Keeper Zieler included who had a very bad day.

Hope is coming back to Hamburg after the late winner against Leverkusen last Friday. It was good but also a lot of luck because Leverkusen maybe deserved 1-2 penalties in this game and if these were given it has been of course a different result. Nevertheless they got the important three points and they are on the way out of the red zone but they have to continue their way. Self confidence and motivation should be back but all teams from Coach Slomka has a lot of problems on the road. They are much better in their own Arena, take a look at Hannover, they were one of the best home teams and very hard to beat in their stadium over the last seasons. Now, it seems Hamburg has the same problem, because they are losing 6 in a row now. Players like Van der Vaart and so on must try to turn things around now. Their biggest hope Lasogga is still out but the other big weapon are ready for some wide shots (Chalanoglu).

Overall it is a very close match and this go be wide open if the first goal comes. Both are not the best in defensive and this can be the weakest points here. Ok, both miss a lot of offensive players but I am very sure that this can be a huge entertaining match with some goals as well. Hard fight .......
