FC Ingolstadt 04 - TSV 1860 München

This encounter is a derby and it is very important for both teams for the following reasons. After a solid end of 2014 Ingolstadt is not doing so well 2015 and they lost some points to their rivals behind. They are coming closer and closer but with a win today they can open the gap to 6 Points again. On the other side 1860 can be the winner of the Round from the bottom teams. With a win they can open the gap to 3 Points and can maybe look forward for less pressure in upcoming games.

After only 4 Points out of the last 3 matches Ingolstadt is aiming for the second win 2015. But compared to the last match in Aalen (1-1) are not many changes expected. The first one can be on the right back wing where Bauer had not the best day against Aalen and therefore Levels is back at his position because he made his job well after coming in against Aalen. The next possible change can be in midfield where Morales has some problems with his form, for him can play Pledl who has the skills too. In offense are the following players nominated again: Leckie, Lex and Hinterseer. This means that Hartmann is on bench again and must hope to come in as Joker.

The new man on the sideline Fröhling had a very good start last weekend. He could celebrate with his team and fans an important 2-1 win against bottom side St. Pauli. It was a bit lucky but all what count in relegation battle is a win and this was the case. Nevertheless he wants to walk on with his team and go for the next win today. Some changes are expected despite the win last Saturday. Not in the squad are Simon, Sanchez and Claaßen who disappointed Fröhling all. For Simon begins Wolf who was one of the key player against Pauli. He scored the important 2-0 after coming in and helped his team a lot. In central midfield can be a change as well. Annan could not convince so far and therefore Fröhling is thinking to move Schindler in central back while Bülow can play in central midfield. All the other positions remain maybe unchanged according to less alternatives above all in offense.

Both meet each other 11 times and always in 2.Bundesliga. The record speaks clear for 1860 Munich who won 5 games, drew 5 and lost only 1 against the “Schanzer”. But this was the last game in Ingolstadt where they lost 0-2.
