MATCH PREVIEW
MAIN PREDICTION: HOME WIN

Greuther Furth were involved in a four-goal thriller in the league last weekend. Despite being 2-0 up at the break, they eventually had to settled for a 2-2 draw with Bielefeld at Sportpark Ronhof. They followed that up with a 0-0 home draw against fellow bottom-half side Dresden in midweek. The side have lost only once in their last six league matches, losing once and drawing four times.

Dimitrios Grammozis has made a solid start at Bollenfalltor, taking seven points from his first four league games in charge of Darmstadt (two wins, one draw, one loss). Before drawing 1-1 with Jahn Regensburg at home last weekend, Darmstadt had seen off Holstein Kiel at home and Hamburg at Volkspark Stadium (both 3-2). The Lilies have lost only one of their last six fixtures in the league (three wins, two draws), but they have the joint worst away record in the league.

Greuther Furth have been in decent shape over the past couple of months under new boss Stefan Leitl while Darmstadt are one of the weakest travelers in the German second division. With that in mind, my money is going on a vital win for the Shamrock.

SECOND PREDICTION: HILO - LOW

Greuther Furth have scored only 18 league goals at home this term while Darmstadt have notched only 16 away from home in league action. Back this to be a low-scoring affair.

HEAD TO HEAD
Greuther Furth have won only one of the last five league meetings, losing two and drawing two.
