MATCH PREVIEW
MAIN PREDICTION: DRAW
Greuther Furth had gone four league games unbeaten (two wins, two draws) before last weekend’s unlucky 3-2 league loss away at Bochum. The Shamrock conceded in injury time to gift Bochum all three points. However, new boss Stefan Leitl’s team have improved of late. They are currently sitting in 11th place on 37 points, ten points above the drop zone.

Urs Fischer’s Union Berlin have been in very poor form in the league of late, winning just one, drawing two and losing two of their last five matches in the league. Since a 2-0 home league win over second-from-bottom side Ingolstadt a month back, Union Berlin have taken just two points from the last 12 on offer in league action, drawing two and losing two. The club from the German capital still sit in third place with five league games left to play, but only have a one-point lead over Paderborn in fourth.

Greuther Furth are in good form and Union Berlin have been struggling recently, but given the fact that the visitors can’t afford to lose I fancy a draw between these two sides.

SECOND PREDICTION: FIRST HALF HAD - DRAW
Five of Greuther Furth’s last six home league meetings have been level at the break. I fancy this one to be all square at half time too.

HEAD TO HEAD
When these two met at Alte Forsterei earlier in the season, Union Berlin cruised to a 4-0 victory in league action. However, Greuther Furth have the edge at Sportpark Ronhof with two wins and one loss in their last three home league encounters.
