It would be dangerous for Lautern after such a big gap to
the teams behind them they have lost this advantage almost because with Köln
they have one team in back with only 3 points less. This means that they must
win this one for sure at home today. They should have a bit advantage because
Bochum played under the week in cup and you never know if the young players
from Bochum are fresh enough for this match. They do not know such situations
to play 3 matches in one week. Also Kaiserslautern with the much better
players, the much better bench and additional their fans in back who push a lot
and make a lot of noise too. On the other side is this match also very
important for Bochum as they are close to drop zone and they need points
anyway. It would be an interesting match to watch as I expect Bochum to defend
and count on counter attacks, while Kaiserlsautern try to push but they must
find the right balance and not to open to much from beginning on.
Nevertheless Kaiserslautern’s offensive was not much good in
Berlin, they created not much almost nothing but they were long time with one
man less as Baumjohann saw the red card and is out today. Many options has
coach Foda to replace this position. With young Weiser, Drazan or Bunjaku he
has to choose from a lot. One of their hopes returns with Mo Idrissou because
he was suspended against Hertha. Maybe some changes, do not know if Hoffer is
in starting lineup again or must on bench because of Idrissou. The other
positions look good only offensive wings are possible for changes.
After losing in Cup 0-2 against Stuttgart, sure they invest
a lot but were not able to score. Some problems arrive as with sixer Sinkiewicz
one important players is not available with knee problems today. For him can
play old man Dabrowski but he is very slow and maybe can not push but on the
other side he is very dangerous for free kicks. Also Toski stands for his
comeback into the lineup after long injury time. Not ready is Tasaka after
slight injury but he should be in the squad. Moreover some tactic change also
expected from Neitzel to a more compact and defensive 4-2-3-1 with only
Scheidhauer as the only one striker. In Stuttgart they played a more open stlye
with 4-4-2.
