Karlsruher SC - 1.FC Kaiserslautern

This is the top match of the Round when the fourth hosts the third. It is an absolutely hot match because both do not like each other much and the supporters are very aggressiv. This means a lot of trouble again before and after the game. A lot of work for the security as well. Nevertheless the truth is on the pitch and both are in a good position to promote this season. The home side is two Points behind FCK but with a win they can overcome Darmstadt and FCK and climb up to second place while FCK is even with Darmstadt and go up with a draw already. The biggest problem is that KSC is winless 2015 at home and FCK is known as weak traveller in recent years. This can be exiting to see which team has the better 90 minutes today.

After the big win against leader Ingolstadt last weekend Coach Kauczinski has not a real reason to change his starting lineup. But for this all players from last weekend must be ready and this is not the case as with Meffert they have one guy who has some problems and could not train much on friday. If Meffert must pass here it is the chance for Peitz to start. Another good move can be that Yabo plays the position from Meffert and in central midfield comes Nazarov in. It is all possible but they have to see first if Meffert is ready or not. Also the changes on the back wing where Torres takes his part against Ingolstadt after suspension again but could not convince much and after Kauzinski changes to Barry there it works for KSC. Maybe advantage Barry here again although he had a weak match at home against Leipzig.

It was not all well in Kaiserslautern but this week was much better above all some of their players return form injury and the list is a bit smaller now. Jenssen, Heintz and Gaus are still out while Zoller and Orban are back in training and gives Coach Runjaic more options or alternatives. It is a bit unsure if Zoller can overcome Hofmann in attack and get back his position as Hofmann made a great game against Nürnberg what brings him in a good position to start today. A bit different to Orban, the captain is back and should start because he gives the defensive line a lot of stability and with im they are much better anyway. In midfield they have also good news with the return from Karl and he takes his part beside Ring. This means that they play the same system again the other variant is 4-3-3 where Demirbay and Ring plays on the wings and Karl is the only one in central midfield. But this is a bit to offensive above all on the road.
