After Cologne could not win their match on monday evening
they are 2 points behind third place where Kaiserslautern has all in their
hands now. Due to this Cologne must win this one today if they want to overcome
Kaiserslautern. Maybe this can lead that the pressure is getting much higher on
Kaiserslautern who plays on monday evening. Therefore we have a change in the
role again. It was always in the last weeks that Kaiserslautern or Cologne
played on monday but they failed often both. If they want to hold their aim
alive, they have to win here, as I wrote above. Their opponent comes without
any worries and their season is gone and they play for nothing here. Sure a lot
of trouble in and around the club as in the past weeks anyway. All about Ismaik
or he is against and so on. But this should be another story, they are happy
that they can play soccer today.
Very important news for Cologne as both suspended players
returns today. With midfielder Strobl and Top striker Ujah he gets some options
back. And they should be in starting lineup immediately as they have a lot of
class above all Ujah who can help with his goals anyway. The nigerian returns
and it seems that Stanislawski change his system to old style with 4-4-2 which
was played often in the past and they had success with it. In defenisve row no
changes expected, in midfield maybe if Strobl move in, Lehmann must on bench,
in offensive Ujah for sure beside Maierhofer while Chihi must on bench after
