What a great Sunday for Kaiserslautern because all went their way and they can open the gap to 4 points with a win today. This is only possible as Cologne got only a draw at home against 1860 Munich and disappointed again. This puts Kaiserslautern in a very good position in the race for third place. But nevertheless they must win first at Cottbus who is very strong in their own stadium. Sure they are on a bad run and the results were not the best in the past but they showed that they are able to beat teams above them. Maybe it is much easier for them as well as they are the team who can play from a deep and good organized defensive while Kaiserslautern must come and push according to their situation. This can open them a lot of space and maybe a match they like.

Cottbus comes from a lose in east derby against Dresden 0-1 where they lost their defender Börner due to red card, he should be replaced from Hünemeier who did it already in Dresden. They were not such bad and played well to beginning, sure Dresden push and invest much more as they need the points badly.
