MATCH PREVIEW

MAIN PREDICTION: DRAW

After losing six times in a row, Ingolstadt appear to have stopped the rot with their second consecutive draw last time out as they held Holstein Kiel to a 2-2 result on the road. It has been a testing few months for the Schanzer, who have won only one of their 12 league matches, with four ending in draws and seven losses. Despite recording two positive results, the team are still rooted to the bottom of the table with seven points and are two points from safety. On a positive note, their only league victory has arrived on their own turf though, but that was over two months ago.

Bielefeld have been in awful form in recent weeks, with just one win and five straight defeats to their name from their last six matches in the league. After a decent start with only one loss, three wins and three draws in seven rounds, the side are now unrecognisable, with their latest defeat arriving at home against second-placed St. Pauli last weekend via a 2-1 scoreline. Bielefeld have now dropped down to 14thin the table, with the Bielefeld club sealing just three wins, three draws and six losses under Jeff Saibene.

Both teams are really in need of points, but I expect them to cancel each other out.

SECOND PREDICTION: HILO – LOW

Neither Ingolstadt's two home draws nor Bielefeld's two away draws have featured more than two total goals. Expect another low-scoring league match.

HEAD TO HEAD

Ingolstadt are yet to lose a league encounter against Bielefeld on home soil, winning two and drawing one.
