For the start into the new season hosts MSV Duisburg
newcomer VfR Aalen today. Both with many difficulties in their pre-season but
both with different reasons. The day is come to show which team are able to let
all this behind and look forward for a good start.
It’s a difficult situation for Coach Reck today because he
has to improve a lot. For his defense line up he has to replace Timo Perthel
and Julian Koch according to news that MID Kevin Wolze has to play there. Also
Playmaker Jürgen Gjasula will miss the match and moreover a little bit longer.
He is absolutely important for MSV and their play. While Gjasula is out they
searched for a replacement and found one at Borussia Dortmund. They signed
Antonio DaSilva from them. He should help now to get the midfield problem
solved. Also new in the starting line up should be new signing form Paderborn
Sören Brandy. He is very quick in his actions and can create a lot of danger. For
the position upfront Reck has to choose from Domovchiyski and new signing
Jovanovic who came from Düsseldorf.
After promotion all was ok and euphoric at Aalen but some
month later it looks like that something has changed a lot. They played a weak
pre-season and moreover their coach got ill and was away for some weeks.
Manager Schupp talks that he search maybe for a new coach if Hasenhüttl can not
comeback soon. But after last week he is back in action and was on the pitch to
lead the training. In summer break they signed a lot of players, overall 9 but
as i read only 3 made it into the starting line up. Benjamin Hübner from SV
Wehen Wiesbaden should replace injured Mössmer while on the wing Buballa from
FSV Mainz II should be favored.
Upfront they signed top scorer Reichwein from Erfurt and together with
Lechleitner he should be a dangerous duo. It also depend a lot how players
react one class higher above all their top players from last season. Can they raise
themselves and hold the higher level or are they unable fort his?
