2.Bundesliga Premiere for SV Sandhausen where they hosts FSV
Frankfurt who are a bit in trouble with line up today. Around 5.000 supporters
are expected today. Sandhausen has one of the lowest budget with only 4,0 Mio.
In this case they could not sign a lot of players because they have to bring
their stadium to 2nd league standard too.
For this reasen Coach Dais has to count on a team which was
already there in their 3rd league season. Only a few players maybe can hope for
a place in the starting line up. For both places on the wing they signed Kim
Falkenberg and Timo Aachenbach, both from Alemannia Aachen. Also for defense
came Fabio Morena from FC St. Pauli but he is a doubt today. Also not sure if
David Ulm can play today due to light injury. In offense they signed with fast
Nicky Adler a former player from Wacker Burghausen and 1860 Munich. The
situation is a bit unknown for them because it is their first match in 2nd
Bundesliga but the motivation and self confidence should be high above all in
the first matches. And the opportunity is big for a surprise or win at
beginning for newcomers.
What a desaster for FSV Frankfurt. The whole pre season was
market by injuries which it was very difficult for the coach and team to
prepare well. Therefore they miss a lot of players today. Many of them are sure
starters what makes it additional difficult for Coach Möhlmann to find the
right balance. Butt he possibilities are rather limited as well. Zafer Yelen, Macel Gaus, Ju-Tae Yun and
Gledson stayed in Frankfurt while Yannik Stark and Mathew Leckie travel with
the team. But for sure they are not ready after their injuries and have a huge fitness
deficit. These guys are only for bench. With these missings not much left to
choose for Möhlmann and in this case he has to bring new signed players like
Heubach, Jung and Verhoek, but all are very young. Edmond Kapllani from FC
Augsburg should give his debut today as well. So let’s see how FSV can cope
with the missings.
