Werder Bremen - FC Schalke 04

Statistic:

On the other side Schalke has much more to replace and they played in the past with a very young lineup. Therefore they are once again without Farfan, Santana, Howedes, Kirchhoff, Uchida, Fuchs, Clemens, Aogo and Höger.

I know Bremen did very hard in recent matches at home and they are very easy to beat at least. But why should this continue and continue, maybe we can expect a change here. They played really great last sunday in Hannover and won deserved in the end 2-1. They showed great moral and the self confidence should be higher now above all after putting some between them and the red zone. They can look forward to the upcoming fixtures and the big pressure is gone now. Of course, some points are needed but they can play much more relaxed and maybe with much more motivation too. Although the statistic is very bad against Schalke in the last matches I believe that they are able to bring Schalke here in some trouble.

What a run from Schalke in second half of the season, they did very well and they are almost unbeatable at the moment but the team is very young and in the last match we saw that some of the young players are more and more tired. This is normal and sooner or later they have not the power that they bring a match successfully to an end. Once again a lot of missing and some of them are important. Ok, Boateng returns here and this can give Coach Keller the opportunity that Meyer can get a rest. But players like Ayhan must play although he plays with some slight injury problems. According to less alternatives it is a must that this youngster play.

I am keen that Bremen can have a chance here, maybe to win but at least to get a draw and this is what I am looking for. Despite the good run from Schalke, I said it already that the players are tired above all the youngsters.
