MATCH PREVIEW
MAIN PREDICTION: AWAY WIN
Rooted to the bottom of the league table, Duisburg have an enormous amount of work ahead of them in their quest for survival this season. After a heavy 4-2 league defeat to fellow relegation candidates Ingolstadt on home soil at the weekend, Torsten Lieberknecht’s men are five points from safety. The Zebras have been woeful in front of their own fans this term where they boast the worst record in Germany's second division, picking up just three wins from 13 home league fixtures, along with ten losses.

Leaders Cologne are pushing for promotion, and they proved their title credentials once again at the weekend with a 2-0 win away at Heidenheim, clinching their sixth league victory in a row since losing to Paderborn 3-2 away from home at the middlle of February. Cologne have the best away record in the division, winning nine, drawing one and losing just three of their 13 away league matches. They are at the top of standings with six-point lead over Hamburg.

This is a vital league fixture for both teams. Cologne are looking to gain promotion back to the German top flight while Duisburg hope to avoid relegation to the third tier. However, this should be an easy win for the away team.

SECOND PREDICTION: FIRST TEAM TO SCORE – COLOGNE
Cologne have scored the opening goal in seven of their last eight league outings. Back the visitors to score first in this one, too.

HEAD TO HEAD
Duisburg have won one and drawn two of the last three league meetings, with Cologne failing to beat them since a 3-1 league away win back in May 2007.
