MATCH PREVIEW
MAIN PREDICTION: HOME WIN
Darmstadt scored late to earn a priceless three points at rivals Magdeburg last weekend. The 1-0 away league victory helped the Lilies to move nine points clear of the drop zone. However, it has only been their third away league win of the season, along with three draws and nine defeats. Ahead of their home league fixture against Bochum, coach Dimitrios Grammozis can count on his team’s strength at Bollenfalltor where they have taken 24 points from their 14 home league outings.

Bochum picked up an important 3-2 home league win over Greuther Furth last time out, with Lukas Hinterseer scoring all three goals. Robin Dutt’s boys have been in patchy form in 2019, winning only three, drawing two and losing six of their 11 league outings this year. The team have lost each of their last two league games on the road and have been failing to win away from home in the league since beating Cologne 3-2 at the Rhein Energie Stadium in late 2018, drawing one and losing four in the meantime.

Darmstadt have picked up three home league wins in 2019 and they should have enough to see off struggling Bochum at Bollenfalltor this weekend.

SECOND PREDICTION: ODD/EVEN - ODD
Darmstadt’s last three league wins have been by a one-goal margin. Have a punt on odd total goals to be scored at Bollenfalltor.

HEAD TO HEAD
Bochum have won three and lost only one of their last five league meetings with Darmstadt, drawing one.
