Arminia Bielefeld - 1.FC Kaiserslautern

Kaiserslautern’s new Coach Kosta Runjaic had a very good start so far. He celebrated wins against Hertha BSC in Cup and vs. 1860 Munich and an also respectable draw in Cologne. Today, he wants to continue his way/run and walk on to close the gap to the top three and put them a little bit more under pressure. Newcomer Arminia Bielefeld who is back after some years had also a good start into the season and they were able to collect 14 Points what put them in a very good position right now without any worries. But they had a downtrend in their recent matches where the results were not in their favor. With defeats in Cup against Leverkusen and League vs. Cottbus they were down but overall they can go very confident in this encounter today.
Despite their defeat in Cottbus and weak performances, especially both wing back Arne Feick and Marcel Appiah Coach Kramer certainly want not change his team completely against Kaiserslautern, but at best some individual changes. Although with Marc Lorenz and Stephan Salger some alternatives are available on the left side Arne Feick will probably start again. Therefore he plans the only change likely in midfield where Johannes Rahn convinced not much and will be replaced by Sebastian Hille but not on the right wing. He maybe comes in as central midfield player while Christian Müller moves outside to the wing and plays on this position. On their first minutes, meanwhile hopes Jan Fießer and Anass Achahbar. While Fießer retuns after a long injury break as an alternative on the bench for the first time this season. Announced Coach Kramer that the trainings impressions from Achahbar are very well and the debut of the striker will not take long now.
The red devils are back in business and they had two amazing performances recently. In both matches they played really good and they showed that their form increased since new coach Runjaic is on the sideline. With two excellent changes in defensive he made the right thing and this gave them a lot of stability back. With Simunek and Torrejon in central back they play much better now and their play is much more balanced. The result against 1860 Munich should have been much higher as only 3-0 because of great attacking play. Not many changes expected, the most possible change seems to be in attack where the more quick and successful Joker Zoller can replace Olivier Occean as partner from Idrissou. In any case, regardless of the personal situation a really self confident FCK eleven will stand on the pitch today. They will also go for the win on an atmospheric “Bielefeld Alm” to catch up the top.
