Hannover 96 - 1899 Hoffenheim

I do not know if some of you know that Hannover 96 is one of the strongest home teams in BL for the past 2 seasons. Since Season 2011/12 they played 39 matches on home soil where they won 23, draw 13 and lost only 3 times!!! This good record since over 2 seasons put them on third place behind both league giants Bayern Munich and Dortmund. Only Schalke 04 has still one match less in this period and can overcome them with a Point. But if they are 3rd or 4th it is absolutely insignificant, the only thing what count is their good home record. With only 3 loses out of 39 matches they are on the same level with Bayern Munich. But nevertheless the bookmakers do not know this already, because they give always very good lines for H96 home matches. If they offer DNB or maybe quarter ball it is almost a must take with this good record in the back. This team is the most underestimate side in BL in their own stadium while away from home they are harmless and very weak overall but showed some uptrend on the weekend. This give some hopes for their next away matches because with Gladbach, Leverkusen, Bayern and Dortmund they faced big and home strong teams what made it not such easy for them anyway. So we can keep an eye on them in the upcoming road trips for them as well. After 4 wins in a row they tied against Hertha BSC but want to bounce back on Saturday where 1899 Hoffenheim arrived in Hannover. The situation is getting better above all in offensive where Ya Konan is still out but important striker Diouf returns and gives Coach Slomka a bit more options there.  Tactical and System wise is all the same as in the past. Slomka favored a fast attacking style with fast breaks within 20-30 seconds to finalize. This is one of the key formula for their play and it works for years now.

Young team from Hoffenheim had a lot against them in the last two matches. First one was in Mainz before the international break where they were up 2-0 but conceded the equalizer in the last seconds. Also at home last Friday where the referee made some curious decisions. First he did not give a clear goal for Hoffenheim as he meant that Volland was in offside, next situation was a phantom goal from Kießling, which was given despite the ball from the outside went through the net and suddenly was in the goal. Brych said that this was a clear goal and allow it what was the 2-0 for Leverkusen although 1899 scored late it was more or less the decider in this encounter. With a lot of bad luck in the past they travel to Hannover and hope that they can try things around. Sooner or later the luck is on their side maybe. Nevertheless a hard task ahead for them and if all is true a lot of work to do too. Coach Gisdol said that he has a lot of problems and the squad is very tinny at the moment. Above all on the left back he has problems as with Fabian Johnson who got injured against Schalke is the first man on this position not available. Also his replacement from the past matches Jeremey Toljan got an injury and is a big doubt here. He has to think a lot as he announced in an interview what he can do there. Maybe Salihovic is an option on this position but not the best one. Also in central back he counts on the young Süle who had some mistakes in his play what can be dangerous against H96 and bring them in trouble. But Gisdol said that this is a good man and he let second captain Vestergaard again on bench. The most important player for Hoffenheim got injured in training this week and this means that their biggest offensive weapon is out. What is a big blow for them additional with all the bad luck in the past. This match stands not under a good sign. Volland will be out, normally. They do not risk anything here.

I wrote it already above, a home team who get the HC level or quarter ball here you have to play. I think with all the good news we get from Hoffenheim's squad and also that Diouf is back for H96 it is a must play for me today. One of the best if you ask me.
