Arminia Bielefeld - 1.FC Köln

The “Bielefelder Alm” is not in so good memories for the 1.FC Cologne. A 1-2 defeat decided the relegation and also some years later they were not successful there. Both matches were BL matches because they faced each other only one time in 2.BL. But today Cologne arrived as leader and they want to get the three Points to put some against them and their rivals. Bielefeld, meanwhile, wants to turn things around after three defeats in a row and prevent further slippage in the table.
Of course Arminia still has a decent balance with 14 Points from eleven games but is only three Points above the relegation zone. Therefore Coach Krämer will rebuild his starting lineup compared to the 0-3 at VfR Aalen probably on some positions. Absolutely necessary is a change in central defensive as important DEF Hübener face a harmstring injury and will probably be replaced by Felix Burmeister. In midfield, meanwhile many arguments for a return to the double six with Tom Schütz and Philipp Riese after an unusual 4-3-3 was practiced in Aalen. Also Jan Fießer could be an option on the double six, ahead of both central players could begin Tim Bleiberg in central role supported by Patrick Schönfeld and Sebastian Hille on the wings. A big question mark is behind Müller but if the with this lineup he is on only bench anyway, also Francky Sembolo could not convince and take his chance as replacement for the injured Fabian Klos. Maybe a new face in attack today with the dutch young international striker Anass Achahbar. Coach Krämer hopes that he solves the problems in attack as Klos is a huge miss for them at the moment.
After the disappointing 0-0 draw against 1860 Munich at home Coach Stöger was not very pleased with his team and he thinks to change a bit tactical wise. So not only possible, but probably that Cologne starts not in the 4-4-2 with two attackers. Instead of this maybe only attacker starts and he put an additional midfield player in with Peszko who can build a great offensive midfield row with Halfar and Risse. The polish international who previously comes from bench and gives Colognes play an additional boost with his quick actions can play on the left side which means that Daniel Halfar can switch to his lovely position in the middle. Whether it caught Helmer or Ujah it is more as open but both could really not convincing last what the bad balance of only four goals explain. At the defensive, which is by far the best in the league with only five goals conceded, however, there are just likely no reasons to change anything here.
