MATCH PREVIEW
MAIN PREDICTION: AWAY WIN
Ingolstadt were expected to challenge for promotion before a ball was kicked this season, but the Schanzer occupy a lowly 16th spot after 23 league matches. In their last league outing, they were beaten 1-0 by promotion contenders St. Pauli at Millerntor. Jens Keller’s men have now lost two and won two of their previous four matches in the league, whilst winning just twice at Audi Sportpark all season (four draws, six losses).

Leaders Cologne were involved in an incredible league fixture against Paderborn at Benteler Arena two weeks ago. They were leading 2-0 with only ten minutes to go, but still managed to lose 3-2. They followed that up with a hard-fought 3-1 victory on home ground against relegation candidates Sandhausen last weekend before travelling to Aue in midweek, where they won 1-0.

This is a huge league fixture for both sides. Despite losing last time out, Ingolstadt have shown signs of life under Keller while Cologne are desperate to be promoted this season. I expect the visitors to be too strong for the hosts here and will back a Cologne win.

SECOND PREDICTION: ODD/EVEN - ODD
Odd total goals have been scored in both of Cologne’s last two league wins against Ingolstadt. Back odd total goals again.

HEAD TO HEAD
Cologne are unbeaten in their last six league meetings, but four have been draws, along with two wins.
