MATCH PREVIEW
MAIN PREDICTION: HOME WIN
Ingolstadt are in trouble as the Schanzer have won just three times in league action since early September. Jens Keller’s side were beaten for the 15th time in the league before the international break, falling to a 3-1 defeat against Paderborn at Benteler Arena. The Schanzer also have the second worst home record, accumulating only ten points from a possible 39 at the Audi Sportpark. The team sit rock bottom in the table, four points from safety.

With Magdeburg drawing last time out, Sandhausen managed to climb out of the relegation zone for the first time in months two weeks ago. Uwe Koschinat’s men have won their last two league fixtures, beating Magdeburg 1-0 away and St. Pauli 4-0 at home. However, the side have picked up just one away league win since late September, drawing twice and losing six times.

Sandhausen sit 15th, only four points above Ingolstadt, and the Schanzer have an important opportunity here to move up the rankings. Given their desperate state at the bottom of the league table, it is almost a must-win situation for the hosts and I can see them taking all three points from this one.

SECOND PREDICTION: ODD/EVEN - ODD
Three of Ingolstadt’s four wins in the league have been by a single goal. I fancy odd total goals to be netted at the weekend.

HEAD TO HEAD
Sandhausen are unbeaten in their last four league meetings, winning three and drawing one.
