Hertha BSC Berlin - Bor. M'Gladbach

New promoted Hertha BSC Berlin is back in Bundesliga after a year’s absence. They want to be much more solid as in past years and also want to stop the ups and downs.  They want establish Hertha long term in the 1.Bundesliga as the capital city deserves a club there. After relegation they did a lot to come back immediately and one of the best decisions was to sign a contract with Luhukay. He was the man who got the team back on track and they worked very well together. Also this season he made it so far and their standing is very good at the moment. With only 2 matches lost from 8 games they can count on a solid basis now. It looks like that they are on the way from Eintracht Frankfurt who had an incredible good last season. Overall they should have the strength for this and if they can continue the way they started everything is possible. Coach Luhukay understands it very well to push his team and also find almost every time the right tactic against their opponents. Of course some hard decisions he has to do as with Ronny last years promotion hero sit only on bench at the moment. Also some others are waiting for their chance. Therefore it is a difficult job to make all happy. But the most important thing is success and this is the case.

Although Gladbach won the last matches against giant Borussia Dortmund Coach Favre was very angry about his team. They were totally outplayed in this one and should have lost this very easy 0-3,4,5. They allowed so many chances and they never had any formula against the fast and quick passing style of Dortmund. It was only due to Dortmund’s weakness in front of the goal which held them in the game and as always in such matches, and many times happened, the underdog wins in the end. It was absolutely mega luck and undeserved as well but know one asked afterwards. This was their 4th home win in a row while on the road they had less success, only one draw in the last match vs. Augsburg they got so far. All the other matches were lost. It looks like that it is a big difference for them to play at home or away. They never brought their home performance on the pitch on the road. No one knows why this happen and they can not solve it in all the matches. Nevertheless they have to look forward and try to do better in the future. The potential is there anyway but they must bring it on the pitch. If Favre makes some changes or not is not out so far. For sure replaced must be defender Dominguez who got injured, this is the chance from Browers again.

I like the matchup here and I think that we see an open match where both go for the win. But I fancy more the home side + goals here.
