FC St. Pauli - FSV Frankfurt

Of fighting spirit and use lacked it not but nevertheless St. Pauli stands again with empty hands there against Köln on Monday. They had a small advantage against the drop zone in the end of 2012 but they lost it almost 2013 already. With 5 matches winless they need immediately points to stay away from relegation battle, accordingly they should begin now otherwise it would be precarious. Much more relaxed should be their opponent FSV Frankfurt, their season goal is reached already and they can play with huge self confidence with two to nil wins in their back anyway. The only problem they have is that the personal situation is not the best at the moment, but this should not effect much as they had almost all season problems.

Also home team miss a lot of players because with Mohr and Thorandt are both central defenders suspended what makes it not much easy for coach Frontzeck. He has to form a complete new central back and it can be a problem above all they never played in this formation before. He calls Avevor and Kalla for this position, sometimes these played already there as a temporary solution or temporary way. Additional some changes are possible in midfield as well because with Fin Bartels miss an important player here too. His replacement can be Aka Gogia who played already some minutes against Cologne. Also their supporters were very happy to welcome back Boll after a long injury time but he will miss again with flu. No other changes expected although their offensive is very weak with only a single goal in their last 5 matches and overall only 19 goals till now. With this  numbers they have the weakest attack in second Division. But neither player could impose as alternative so far.

FSV has a lot of problems too because of some missing as well. With Gaus and Teixeira also two players suspended. Mathew Leckie is set to replace Gaus while Anthony Jung replace Teixeira again. One question mark stands behind Jönsson who scored the winning goal against Cottbus last Sunday. He could not train with the team so far, only light running was possible and therefore it is not sure if he can play today. Coach Möhlmann wants to think about him, if he can complete final practice, he can be an option otherwise Zafar Yelen gets the open place in offensive. Last but not least, more as unclear is if Alexander Huber travels to Hamburg today because his wife is expecting a child.
